Hi! would you recommend these for editing sound? using them as studio monitors for editing and i'm in a noisy environment so i need isolation. thanks!

They would be great for sound isolation. Sometimes when I'm practicing on an acoustic drum kit I have to lift the ear cup up slightly to allow some of the noise in. Great sounding too

Yes it is blue non detachable about 4ft long

Looking for actual db attenuation measurement. Is that available?

In my experience I'd say it's equivalent to regular hearing protection equipment used when mowing a lawn o operating a grinder, so between 25 & 27 dB would be a reasonable estimate. If you need something EXACT, contact Alesis directly.
