The taste is awful, but it is iron so that’s to be expected. They are small, which is nice, and they did not upset my stomach

My doctor recommended this brand because it is vegetarian. He said that lots of people have more side effects of regular iron supplements because they are animal proteins instead of plant protein, so it is hard for the body to absorb. With the vegetarian option, your body absorbs them better, less constipation, and I didn’t experience any nausea. Would definitely recommend.

They are the right amount of iron for me, BUT they are SO HARD to get out of their protective packaging that I have to swear at them every day while trying to "open" a packet. I probably wouldn't need these if I was able to grow finger nails pointed and strong enough to get them out of their little package I cant. Maybe it's an iron deficiency...
