I have thin hair and these hold my hair for hours, I've slept in them as well. Nice quality and I have several since I have shoulder length hair and wear it in a twist almost daily, and leave the ends popping out, looks cute. I purchased for my mother also, who has thin hair, she also loves them.

I'm including some photos of the comparison to another brand of hair clip that I thought should be the superior quality since it is "made in France". I'll be honest, since I know that they ARE NOT actually made of celluloid as claimed, so I didn't have much confidence in the legitimacy of them being produced in France. Mia clips are made in China and my expectation was that the other one probably was as well, and they would be hard to tell one from the other. I was WRONG! Mia clips are higher quality, and they outperform the French brand in my hair.These hair clips from MIa are the best thing ever for staying in my fine hair, and they do it without poking my scalp! I can twist my long hair up and it stays. I can fold the twist in half (doubling the volume the clip must hold) and it stays just as well. No pulling sensation, no stabbing, no sliding, no kidding. When I remove it, no hair gets caught in the clip, so no ripping a few strands out at the root. My only complaint is that I would like more colors to choose from. I have the 'tortoise' and all three variations of black (black & white) which are the only 4 I have found. I wear a ton of Navy blue and would love to see that, or red, or even plain ivory or pearl white.

I just reordered these so that I would have 2 brown ones. They lie flat so they don't bother you when you drive. My hair is very fine and thin and they hold my hair well. I struggle to find clips that will hold my hair and stay in. These definitely do but are not for thick hair.

Wish they were a little longer for long hair

I love these. They feel so much better in my hair, then the standup clamp style clip. I have purchased several, and they are long lasting.
