This chair mat has been a great upgrade for my home office setup. It lays flat nicely and provides a smooth surface for my office chair to roll on without scratching my hardwood floors. The large 48" x 36" size gives plenty of room to move around comfortably while working or gaming. I also like the anti-slip backing—it stays in place and doesn't slide around like some plastic mats I've used before. The black color looks clean and professional, blending in perfectly with my desk and office furniture. Another big plus is how easy it is to clean. A quick vacuum or wipe keeps it looking like new. Really protects the floor with a thick layer of whatever plastic/rubbery substance this thing is made of. It does not stink, and will not crease or bend easy, preventing chairs getting stuck, or skipping. The only negative I find, if we can call it that as it is more hilarious than negative, is the fact it is shiny making it look like there is a spill of water. first couple of times made me do a double take, and to this day it catches the attention. Really good product.
