XLEDIA D75N-Diamond Series (A19,75W Equivalent,1200 lm,Cool White,Omni+Enclosed+Insulation Contact Suitable)

I installed them in recessed overhead lighting and they appear to be doing well with no temperature issues I can detect.

The bulb is fine but it does not provide more coverage than standard LED bulbs. Don't really like the shape either.

I bought two of these bulbs (2nd one was the cool white version) to use in an enclosed ceiling fixture, and they do live up to their promise of running cool. After hours of use the fixture is barely warm to the touch. I had a couple CFLs in there before and the surface of the fixture would almost burn you. They definitely project more light forward than to the side, but it is dispersed nicely and there is no sharp cutoff on the light pattern. Definitely worth the price for an enclosed fixture. For an open one there may be cheaper options. I was surprised to see they only have a CRI of 80. Colors look great and accurate.

I bought two of these & had one go bad in 2hrs of use and the other just went out after about 6 months of use.(avg. 1hr. per day)these were being used in open fixture in the basement .I love the LED's lighting for the home, I have bought many other brands, and they are still working great. (some i had about 4 yrs. now. I have bought some XLEDIA 125 =W and they are still working great.

At this time, this bulb seems to be the best out there. I really like it. It is bright and true to the color spec. The light is effectively distributed in an omnidirectional fassion. I prefer the 'N' bulbs (as in D75N) which are the 5000K color temperature bulbs to the 'L' bulbs at 2700K. The latter are orangish. This bulb is a good white and is more energy efficient.Can't speak to the durability as I've only had them a week. If they last their rated 40000 hours, you'll never hear about it.
