Simple and easy to use extender. Just install TP link's "Tether" mobile app -> connect phone wifi to the extender SSID. It will list and ask on to which SSID we need to connect. Select and thats it. The SSID of extender will be source SSID with an "_EXT" . The password of extender SSID is the same as that of the source Wifi SSID provider and extender password cannot be changed, which is as per the design (this was a new piece of information for me. so just thought of sharing it so that folks like me should not end up confusion) The extender has an Ethernet out port. This can be connected to routers or smart TV or laptops.. etc and enjoy seemless connection. It has not that bad range as well, eventhough I have kept it behind a wall. The device do have WPS button as well.

Working great... I bought it for my parents.. now they can use this product on any floor.. one time connection required after then just plug it & use internet smoothly smoothly.

Installed couple of days back. Initially, I couldn't configure it with the main Router myself so called my wifi connector and he showed up immediately and got it configured. It's 13 - 15 metres distance installed from the main Router and it's working fine so far.

Als Ersatz für meinen bisherigen Repeater (ohne externe Antennen!) gekauft. Da die Wohnung Stahlbetonwände hat (Hochhaus aus den 60igern), kommt das Signal der FritzBox nur schwach in die hinteren Zimmer. Mit vorherigen Repeater war nur eine leichte Besserung zu bemerken. Mit diesem Gerät ist streamen (mit Handy oder FireTV-Stick) im Schlafzimmer kein Problem mehr! Einfache und schnelle Installation, guter Datendurchsatz unter widrigen Bedingungen (wie bereits erwähnt: Stahlbetonwände.. Bluetooth-Verbindungen (bspw. zwischen Handy und SmartWatch), brechen bereits nach gut 5 Metern und 2 Wänden ab. WLAN habe ich ich jetzt in der ganzen Wohnung. Natürlich könnte man den Datendurchsatz noch mehr steigern, durch Powerline-Adapter. Diese kosten aber ein Vielfaches. Und seinen Zweck erfüllt dieser Repeater (zumindest in meinem Fall) einwandfrei und zufriedenstellend! Bei anderen Wandmaterial, dürfte dieses Gerät noch stärker sein..
