Nokia 5, Multicolor,2GB RAM, 16GB Storage

great phone. Lives upto the expectation. Rough and tough body. Very nice display clarity. Got 3 updates back to back after uboxing. The udates were July, Aug and Sept security patches. The only drawback I can see is the system reserved memory is around 7 GB out of 16 GB. So memory card is must. Lets hope Nokia works on reducing the system reserved memory size.

Poor phone quality with a battery life of 2 hours of continuous usage I've been using this phone for 2 weeks and there are many issues with this phone such as sometimes it shut down automatically, non recognition of fingerprint etc. so don't buy it.

So this is my honest review for Nokia 5. I am gonna write a lot and I won't be exhausted as I can type at a speed of 70-80 wpm.First of all I own both devices i.e. Nokia 5(Silver) and Nokia 6(Matte Black). I have Nokia 5 and my sister has Nokia 6. I use both devices. I have been using Nokia 5 for about two weeks and Nokia 6 for about a month. So I will first talk about Nokia 5 and then I'll compare it with Nokia 6.My Nokia 5 Rating - 4.5/5 ( rating is based on my needs i.e. what I demand from the phone )I would choose Nokia 5 over Nokia 6 as former is beautiful and sexy. And both phones have almost same performances.Camera - Nokia 5 has average camera, It captures average pictures.Design - Nokia 5 has excellent design, when you hold this phone in your hand it feels like as if you are holding an iphone, Seriously it really feels good holding this phone. It has perfect size of 5.2 inches ( not small and not too big ), it's curved edges makes it comfortable to hold with one hand. And it looks really beautiful in the hand. Build quality is excellent. Nokia 5 looks like a top end phone.Colors - Nokia 5 has 720p display, but colors are beautiful in Nokia 5, It doesn't look like a 720p display. Sunlight readability is excellent. While outdoors I was able to read and watch everything in sunlight.Audio - Nokia 5 audio is quite loud. Both Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 audio is impressive. If you ask me which has better audio quality, then it is same for both devices. Even though Nokia 6 has Dolby Atmos Sound, but it doesn't make any difference. Nokia 5 audio is very good. You don't need earphone while listening to music and videos. Audio is quite loud and clear in Nokia 5.Performance - It performs fine. I haven't faced any lag while operating this phone, all apps open smoothly. If I compare it with nokia 6, then nokia 6 is a bit faster ( only 1 second ) than Nokia 5.Here is the performance comparison for various apps.Phone Dialer - same time taken by both of the devices.Messages - Nokia 5 beats Nokia 6.Whatspp - Nokia 6 beats Nokia 5 by less than a second.Facebook - Nokia 5 faster.Play Store - same time taken.Youtube - Nokia 6 beats Nokia 5 by less than a secondChrome - Nokia 5 beats Nokia 6 by 1 secondAmazon app - Nokia 6 beats Nokia 5 by less than a secondSettings - both took equal timeGmail app - Nokia 5 beats Nokia 6 by 1 secondKaspersky Internet Security - same time taken by both devicesSo you can see both devices perform equally well, sometimes Nokia 6 wins and sometimes Nokia 5 wins. and that's because both have same Snapdragon 430 processor LOL. But Nokia 6 has 3 GB of RAM.Finger Print Scanner - I'll say it's just fine/good in Nokia 5. Nokia 6 finger print scanner is a little bit faster than Nokia 5.Gaming Experience - I played Asphalt 8 and Subway Surfers on my Nokia 5. Both games ran smooth, there was no lag. But while playing heavy games like Asphalt 8 which has download size of around 1.5 GB, phone heats up. yeah it heats up too much. That's the only point where Nokia 5 heats up, otherwise it remains cool all the time. Also games on Nokia 6 took less time to load than on Nokia 5, time difference of 2-3 seconds only.Heating Problem - Both devices heat up while playing heavy games. Also while charging, both devices heat up for first 20 minutes and then they cool down after 15-20 minutes. Other than charging and playing heavy games there is no heating problem, both remain cool.So which phone you should choose ??Both phones are almost same, it's your own personal choice. Nokia 5 has better grip and better design.It is very comfortable to hold because of 5.2 inch size. Nokia 6 is wide and its difficult to hold. It doesn't feel good holding Nokia 6.Nokia 5 has only 16 GB of internal storage while Nokia 6 has 32 GB . But that's not a plus point for Nokia 6. Storage is never a plus point because you can insert micro SD card. so here Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 both are equal.Display - both displays are good, even though Nokia 6 has FHD display, it's display is only 10% better than Nokia 5. Nokia 6 display is brighter than Nokia 5, nothing else.Camera - Nokia 6 has better camera.Performance - Nokia 6 performance only 10% faster and that too while loading games.I prefer Nokia 5 because it's design is excellent, it is much more beautiful than Nokia 6.

I have been using this phone almost last 5 months pretty satisfied with the phone. It has a decent performance and have a great experience with it's camera. Also the phone looks amazing with it's charming design. I would recommend this phone if you are looking for a decent phone in this. Nokia never fails to satisfy it's costomer.

Not a good phone at all

I got this for my dad and since switching to this my dad is not receiving calls. People calling him are complaining that his phone is not reachable despite the phone is next to him with phone showing strong signal strength. Also, it does not display the name correctly when a phone call is received even though the name is in the address book. This might be due to the phone treating all numbers as US numbers and unable to look up the address book. It is just not friendly. He now wants it to be returned.

Excellent quality of photo and screen, very good battery life at least least long for 2 days , NFC enable mobile, separate slots for 2 sim nano sim cards and additional slot for memory card
