Soaps have always been an important part of personal care for me and I change my soaps very often. I have tried several charcoal products and this time I tried this Soulflower charcoal soap and I would it was very good in my perspective but slightly priced higher. This soap though has a the base of charcoal the soap is not complete black. It's half black and half dull white. The lather was not the greatest but it was good enough. The soap smelt has a smell of Khus roots but I couldn't find it in the ingredient list which had a mention of Tea tree oil and Benzoin oil for antibacterial properties, Olive and Castor oil for hydration of skin, Palm oil for moisturizing , peppermint essential oil & Turnip juice for nourishing. The smell is very good in my view as it's not too strong or too mild. I have a dry skin and after using this soap I felt skin was hydrated, nourished, had a slight fragrance and also clean. The charcoal in the soap also keep the skin deodorized for long time. The price alone is a bit on the higher side. Wish the price was a bit lower, but for the 100% vegan, chemical free, cold pressed soap and its effectiveness, l feel soap did suit me.

Being a college student, I have to travel a lot under the sun and deal with sweat on daily basis, and nothing feels more irritating than the smell of your own sweat. Not only this, facing pollution everyday had made my skin feel rough and dull. Having tried a variety of products I thought I might as well try this Charcoal Soap from Soulflower. It has helped detoxify my skin, clearing pores and fight that body odour. This soap also helped me fight my Oily Skin issues and rid me of all those Acne which used to appear out of no where. Made from all Natural Ingredients, this product from Soulflower is actually worth the money! For people dealing with similar issues... It's a product that you must purchase!

Pink strawberry- this soap is extremely drying..got my facial skin very flaky. Product was nicely packed n delivered before time. Edit-2 Giving another star because I feel this soap may be suitable for the oily type skin. Skin under my eyebrow was already flaky due to the dry December winter n this soap dint help. Generally I have a normal skin during rest of the months and I feel this soap can be used during such times. The hot chocolate flavoured one is good for dry skin.

I like it's quality, and it's natural intregrents. Unique mixture of intregrents, smells good. Got it on discount. After use I can see visible results .

Fragrance on first use was excellent, after that there is hardly any. Thoroughly disappointed.

There is a thing about this soap which makes me afraid and that's the cold pressed castor oil, now usually it's better to refine castor oil because it contains ricin, which is a very toxic protein, although ricin is doesn't dissolve in oil, usually the castor oil is refined or heated as a safety step, it's not a immediate red flag Summary: Q.what's makes me feel afraid about it? Short answer: it's castor oil and I wish it was refined and not cold pressed
