I was hoping that they would be a good purchase & it turns out they are. I bought one for my self & one for my boyfriend's mom. I couldn't stand seeing her use a wine bottle one more time!I like the fact it is made out of bamboo- a more sustainable material.It is also a type of rolling pin that the body doesn't spin on it. I wasn't sure if I would like that or not, but it still does a very good job of rolling things out. In addition, it cleans off earlier than my old rolling pin.

Cheaply made, cracks up and down roller
The price was good, but the product will not last with the cracks intermittent from the top then through out the roller. Still, it is bamboo which is good.

For light use The once a year baker
This is basic all right. You get what you pay for. This is ideal for that once-a-year baker that wants to cut out cookies for a holiday. Exceptionally light in weight I ACTUALLY THINK MADE WITH HOLLOW PIECES OF BAMBOO. Does not look like the picture at all. There is no color natural wood looking. This item will have to be handled with care if you want it to last any length of time. I would not buy it again. I might give it to a child as a toy for play dough.

It arrived with a chip in the roll, which I used a nail file to make smooth. Also, one of the handles started creaking after the second time I used it, and it is now crooked. Definitely cannot put any sort of real pressure on my roller now. Kinda bummed the roller isn't on it's own bearings (this is probably what contributed to the handle weakening so quickly), either, but, I guess you get what you pay for. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Should have went with the French style.

What do you want to have: a light weight? made from good material and smell good as a real wood then you have it!

its straight no buy
Its a joke to even order it. Side handles came out every time when I used it. I returned it and luckily I got ome from dollar store exactly same in looks and make just better quality.Dont buy it quality isn't worth
