This was exactly what I was looking for. This fireplace has a remote to change colors of the flames and has an LED light strip that we used behind our tv which led us to purchase more lights for the upper shelves. It has a heater that helps with keeping the living room warm and lets us keep our bedroom cooler for sleeping. It was fairly easy to install. We received our fireplace with the log broken and I contacted the seller and he immediately made it right. I would definitely buy from this seller again as we are thinking of putting one in another room for the ambiance. This does not work with Alexa or an app but it does come with a remote. I originally looked at one that worked with an app but it was double the price when this one does the same as the more expensive ones and I can definitely deal with using a remote for half the price but if you cannot then this is not for you. We do have a smart house and did originally want a smart fireplace but really we set it where we want every day and for half the price I can live with that. I really do love it.

We bought this fireplace insert because it was extremely versatile -over 84 flame combinations and 5 brightness levels. It also offers an adjustable thermostat from 62°- 86°. It comes with faux logs and crystals, to mimic burning coals, has a remote control and has an 8 hour timer - which I thought was a great option. As far as installation, it can be recessed, semi-recessed, or wall mounted. We will be installing it fully recessed, I just need to find the time to start this project. If my wife has her way, it will be completed tomorrow 😂.
