Used an entire bottle before writing review
First of all this product is "human grade..exceeding pharmaceutical standards" so it seems to be a high-quality pet food supplement. Second, there is no nasty fishy smell, and in fact has no noticeable odor at all. I waited until going through a whole bottle to write a review. I have two 11 yr old cats eating wet food from separate bowls about every 8 hours. They have suffered from arthritic stiff joints, itchy skin, and dandruff, so I decided to give this a try, and have given them one decent squirt of the goo into each bowl they eat. They love the taste, and lick the bowls clean. After going through an entire bottle, I have to say that both cats are so much softer, the dandruff is gone, the itchiness is much reduced, but the best part is that both cats are more agile, alert, and active again. It really seems to help ease their arthritic joints, and that makes us very happy.

My dogs love this stuff
I use this daily for my boys and they love it. Silky coats and everything. My big boy had heart worms when I got him and after the treatment I researched the fall out from that and heart problems was one of the worst. This says it promotes heart health which is obviously important to me but a silky coat is a nice bonus effect especially when you have a 75lb lap dog. I keep it in the refrigerator with the wet food I mix in their meals and I haven’t had any problems with the original pump yet and I’m about to have to reorder. I love the simplicity of the directions, I use a little less than recommended because they were getting a bit constipated at full strength (it was also winter when we started so the exercise level decreased, which can also cause constipation, so we’ll probably go back up to full strength in the coming weeks). Overall great product both the wee one and the big guy love it and I love the health benefits. I’ve also noticed a decrease in shedding, I don’t know if it’s supposed to do that but it’s the only change I’ve made in their diet and I’ve noticed it.

The vet said we needed to add these oils to my dog's diet. So far, so good.
I haven't been using this for long but my vet told me to get some oily crap for my dog. He has that condition/disease that causes his nail casings to come off and his nails to split. It's a mild case and we caught it early and she said stuff like this would help. I couldn't pay what they wanted for theirs so she gave me a brand from Walmart I could buy (I told her I had a Walmart credit card and asked if they had anything similar). It was nice and cheap, probably worked fine, but didn't have all the oils she said he needed, so when I got my check and ran out of the other stuff, I got this one. It has more of what she said he needed, though I need to check with her and see if the dosage is high enough for his needs. The other one made his breath smell fishy for the first week but it faded so I don't know if this doesn't do that or if we're just used to it now. His fur is super soft, he doesn't lick his paws as much, and he seems to like the taste almost as much as the other one (but I'm using less, so I'm sure he'd like it more if I used more of it). This one is more expensive per ounce but not by much (it was $ .90 per ounce, this is $1.25 per ounce) but the dosage of this one is half, for healthy dogs. I was using the max amount of the Walmart stuff but I haven't talked to the vet yet about how much I can use of this. Either way, better deal, and better for him. Oh, and I don't mind the pump at all. It's dripped like one drop since I started using it three weeks ago. I prefer measuring by pumps rather than a spoon. UPDATE: Yeah, the pump leaks. A LOT. The company says they've updated it but I have a puddle where I keep it (thank everything holy I didn't store it in the dog cabinet!!). I still haven't checked with the vet about the dosage so I'd been giving him what the bottle said until about a week ago. His fur is thick and soft but he's losing nail casings and starting to lick his paws again so I've been giving him a bit more this last week.

Works well for the coat
When my brother passed away, we took in his wonderful cat. She had been on a horrible diet overall, so we changed that right away. We knew that would help and it would take time, but she was also losing tons of hair due to the stress and her coat overall looked awful - very dry, lots of dandruff, and didn't feel nice to pet. We bought this and within a very short amount of time we noticed a shine to her coat. It's almost like she "lost the old yucky coat" and grew in a new glossy, smooth, shiny coat that we didn't even know was there. She scratched less and seemed to feel more at ease in her skin. It was nuts how quickly it seemed to happen I have no idea what else it's helping in her body, I just know that it IS helping, so we continue to keep her on it even though she no longer technically has dandruff or coat issues. Her coat continues to look smooth, shiny and glossy with regular brushings, which is a necessity with cats. She never had a problem with the taste, in fact, sometimes she won't eat her evening meal as well and I'm convinced it's because it doesn't have this dose on it like her morning meal does. If you're on the fence, I say try it. They have a money back guarantee, so you have nothing to lose really

Simple Ingredients and Great Quality Make This a Good Buy
I have started using this product for my dogs and although it's early to see what the long-term benefits will be, I am pleased with the product so far. The ingredients listed are simply four kinds of fish wild caught in Iceland. No fancy additives that only a scientist would recognize. The product is bottled in the US. The packaging makes the product super easy to use and to dispense with the proper dosage. You get a choice between using a pump or a cap that pops open to let you measure the oil into a spoon. I like using the pump. The oil does not have an unpleasant fishy odor and the dogs seem to like the taste. I mix it into their food and they lick their bowls clean! Fish oil has widely recognized health benefits and I feel completely confident in the superior quality of this specific product. I highly recommend it to pet owners. It is reasonably priced and delivers excellent quality.

This product really works
I very rarely write reviews, this is 100% honest and I hope it helps someone else. I have two Boxers and they shed and scratch like crazy, I had to vacumm daily just to try and keep the hair at a minimum. My dog were constantly chewing their paws and scratching. I was talking with the lady that keeps my dogs when we go on vacation and she agreed the shedding was horrible, to the point of me giving up. She told me to try this product and to say I was hesitant was an understatement. I have tried everything from cooking their food to shampoos and even other supplements and nothing seemed to help much. I got this on April 1st, it is now the 15th and let me tell you the shedding is down by 75% and there is zero scratching. No funky skins smells either. I am beyond impressed and will keep using this daily for as long as they are alive. Thank you for making a product that actually works.

Well tolerated, easy to use, no belly or bowel issues and dogs yum it up. Cost per servings may be an issue for lots of dogs
I give my dogs fish oil every day. Good for their skin and from what I have read, also their joints and health. I typically give them fish oil from Costco, which for some reason, is the only capsule they will eat without me having to break open the capsule. Don't ask me why, but they won't eat the capsules from Natures Made, Natures Bounty or Trader Joes. I decided to try this to see if it gave better results. It is a little more expensive, but I figured a better product is worth the money. For the equivalent dosage of EPA, three Costco capsules is about the same as 5ml of this product, (pretty close). Now, since this is about 950 ml, that gives about 190 doses. $35.00 a bottle...18.4 cents a serving. Costco is 400 capsules...133 servings at three capsules a serving. Cost of bottle is $9.99. Cost per serving is 7.5 cents. I do appreciate that the product specs seem great. But, I'm not convinced, having gone through an entire bottle, that I see any changes in the coat. It seems as good, not certain better. And, if you have lots of dogs, (like I do), the cost difference adds up. Bottom line, a good product. My dogs like the taste, added to food causes no problems. No belly, bowel, or other issues. And, the ease of using a pump means you don't have to break open capsules. However, for some reason, my dogs will eat the capsules from Costco, and it seems more cost effective

Cat’s aging in reverse!
I have an 11 year old cat that was getting dandruff and mats because she was also overweight. I started giving her this over a year ago and I couldn’t be happier with her turn around! Her fur is soft and shiny again, she’s more active and seems happier. I swear shes aging in reverse now! I keep her food in a quart jar, squirt a couple tablespoons on the whole jar and shake it up. It seems like too much at first but the food absorbs it by the next time I feed her. Love love love this stuff!
