Hi, This product is available in black through this listing. We do have white available also on Amazon. Please search for TechFlex F6 1/2" White.

Q: Is this 1/2" diameter before cables are put in or is that the maximum size? What is the diameter empty if not 1/2"?

1/2" is the nominal size. This is a wrap, so sizes are approximate and will vary. Also, since it is a wrap, it overlaps itself, so it will be less than 1/2" and will expand over 1/2", maybe max size might be around 5/8", but it all depends on how you use the product, if there are bends in your cable run, etc.

Q: Would it be UV protected? My application would be in the full sun all day long.

Tech Flex specs state that UV Light has no effect. Racer Parts Wholesale

Q: Whats this heat resistant too? And melting point?
