We purchase products directly from the Japanese Sailor Pen Co., Ltd. We put the warranty card and accessories on the bottom of the fountain pen box. thanks for your questions.

Can you change the nib size down the road to something broader?

Not easy to do with a sailor. They do not sell nibs alone. Try a karas kustoms with their easy to unscrew bock nibs.

Snap close or twist close?

It's a twist closure. It's virtually the same pen as a Sailor 1911S but with a steel nib and slightly simpler trim.

What kind of converter is compatible with this pen?

I purchased the Sailor brand converter to go with it.
