R&B Bass Bible.

As a bass player of a certain age playing in a covers band I am always looking for songs with a great bass line or hook,this book is full of them. I was a Motown fan back in the day and it makes a nice change to play a bit of Marvin Gaye in the set as opposed to Elvis,The Beatles,Stones etc.You will not be disappointed with this book.

Supplements the online tabs and stops you surfin' when you should be practicing. Most of the greats included and a good Motown start so you can start getting more out of the online Tab's DOH!!!. Or even better helps you listen to the original recordings. Ordered the Funk Bass Bible on the strength of this. Shame no multi-postage savings but even so very good value.

Came across a few songs in other H-L publications but still some good numbers in there to play along to.32 songs/music in all mainly from way back when. Could pass this as a Motown collection (H-L publication).Standard for the usual good quality of the Hal-Leonard range of books.

great book has something for everyone.

Some of the songs are in wrong keys, but this is easy to fix by yourself. Wish the Amazon to get a bass tab book of The Marvelettes songs.
