Comfortable option
This is my first experience with a reusable pad, I was expecting something to go wrong, other than it being difficult to clean (I expected that), it protects pretty well and stays in place okay. I use an enzyme laundry detergent to which I add lemon essential oil and it seems to do the trick. The essential oil might have some effect on the longevity, but I’m willing to take that risk in order to make sure it’s clean. I’ve decided to get more of the same brand.

So comfortable
I love these. I should have switched years ago. They're so soft and unlike disposable pads, not hot or bulky.

Nowhere Near What I Expected
Based on the reviews, I thought this was going to be an awesome product. For almost $25.00, you would expect it to be.The "wings" are crooked. The absorbent material for the pad and the insert is a fleece and flannel combination, which means heat in an area where you don't want or need it to be.Once washed, both the pad and insert shedded and pilled to the point that there was no way I was going to wear either one.It was a waste of money.

Ability to swap top layer is what makes Lunapads uniquely useful
I think I bought my Lunapads direct, and I know I bought the first one at least over 10 years ago. The snap on one pantyliner has failed in all that time; my other Lunapads are still in good useable shape. The cloth itself remains supple and absorbent, though the flannel isn’t as fluffy as it was when new.I also own Glad Rags (my favorite overnight style because of its hourglass shape) and several artisan made types of pads bought back when my children were in cloth diapers. I’d say Glad Rags and Lunapads are equally high quality options. Lunapads shine the most in the simplicity of the pantyliner and the convenience (in the more absorbent pads) of changing the extra layers from the top which means owning fewer might be feasible.Cloth pads will never feel like disposables, but, if you are considering trying cloth for the first time, Lunapads are a solid choice. My older Lunapads had tricky mini-snaps in a row of three that were plastic; it looks like they’ve improved that one negative to a simpler (to fasten) individual (larger) snap. Yay!Dark colors will stain less over time; undyed fabric, on the other hand, is the least allergenic choice for ultra-sensitive individuals.

The best
There are so many out there but these are the best reusable pads ever. They are softer than most reusable pads and they are less prone to staining. I will continue use these.
