I purchased from a different brand the week before and loved it and decided to repurchase. I came across this brand and these were a couple pounds less expensive, so decided to buy 2x. They arrived promptly, but I could not taste any of the flavoring. Texture was also not that great. Will not repurchase.

The durian taste was very artificial.

This mochi is the most disgusting thing we've tasted. Had to spit it out. Upon opening, the smell was strong and foul, like onions or old socks as a previous reviewer mentioned, and the mochi tasted the same. I'm not sure how anybody can enjoy this. So disappointing as we love mochi and were curious of the durian flavour.

KEINE PANIK! Bei den Durian Reisküchlein wird niemand eine böse Überraschung erleben. Wer Reisküchlein kennt bekommt genau was erwartet wird: Kleine, weiche, knubbelige Küchlein mit milden süßen Aroma. Die Durian Frucht liefert dazu noch einen üblen Geruch beim öffnen, welcher aber sehr schnell verfliegt und ein leichtes Zwiebelaroma. Ich habe die Durian Mochi gekauft ohne vorher zu wissen was für eine Frucht das ist. Ich dachte mir nur:"Oh schön, etwas neues. Mal probieren". Erst als die Packung vor mir lag und ich die abgebildete Frucht genauer sah, fiel mir ein das ich sowas mal im Fernshen gesehen habe und Wikipedia erklärte mir dann alles was ich vergessen hatte. Der Geschmack ist nicht schlecht, aber für mich gehören Zwiebeln nicht in Süßwaren. Volle Punkte gebe ich weil das gesamte Produkt einfach alles hält was es verspricht.

This was the most delicious mochi I have ever tasted. 5 stars for sure. But the durian part is not the actual fruit. It’s a paste. So don’t expect the durian flavor. But the mochi is exceptional. I would definitely purchase this again

Mochi Gefüllt mit durian, obwohl man sagt das die Durian frucht schrecklich stinkt muss ich sagen das der geruch garnicht schlimm war, der geschmack war auch okay. komischer weise schmeckt durian anscheined für jeden anders also manche sagen durian schmeckt wie zwiebel andere sagen wie mango,ander sagen einfach nur ekelig. ich muss sagen für mich schmeckt durian fast wie mango manchmal mit nem hauch komischen eigengeschmack ich bin dem aber nicht komplett abgeneigt
