Excellent cheese

Excellent flavor… I use this as much if not more than parmesano reggiano. This type of cheese is hard to find in stores, so I am glad Amazon carries!

Nothing beats Locatelli Pecorino Romano. Please grate it yourself because you’ll get the freshness of this pungent cheese. Parmesan cheese is great as well, but it has a nutty flavor and milder than Romano.

Taste fine, portion can be bigger

My mother-in-law used to send this along with linguine pasta over 40 years ago. I have never tasted anything like this and I continue to eat this cheese on my pasta. The price is very reasonable.

Great flavor & well wrapped

If you haunt your cheesemonger as I do, you appreciate my suffering during the quarantine. The cheese offerings at my local grocery stores leaves a lot to be desired, so I was thrilled to find this packaged pecorino. It's a perfectly aged chunk, nice and salty, absolutely delicious drizzled with honey and served with wedges of brown bread and dried fruit. When and if my local cheese lady reopens this year, I'll still save room in my cheese drawer for this Locatelli pecorino Romano. It's a great product at an unexpectedly good price—affordable luxury.
