My Daughter Loves This Book!
My seven year old loves nature! I got this book for me to go through to teach her some more things. However, she reads it all day and tells me the different herbs and plants we need to grow and use. I was concerned that none of the plants have colored photos but it doesn't seem to be an issue for her. The photos are very descriptive. We will enjoy this book for many years. It's a beautiful hardcover. I love a good sturdy book!

I purchased this as a gift for my sister for her two children. She says it is awesome for playing outside. She is teaching them how to use nature to survive and is into homesteading so it was a hit with her. I actually plan on purchasing it for myself too. I live in the Midwest in the country and it would be cool to be able to forage some things!

Great content-no color
Love it....disappointed pictures weren’t in color...especially for a foraging book where color could help w identification.

Love this book so far. I’m excited to take my kid foraging. It’ll be a great and fun learning experience plus being out in nature. I also love it has a few recipes as well. I wasn’t expecting that.

Great resource!
This is a lovely little book that's great for teaching your kids, but it also is great for beginners. I recommend it regularly to other people looking for resources to get into foraging. The picture diagrams are clear and information is concise and easy to understand for those without a background in botany.

Very good
Brilliant book. My 5 yr old and I have been interested in learning about foraging. Useful, informative but simple facts. Useful for both adult new to foraging and child alike. The only sad thing thing is the pictures are black and white (I really dont understand why) but there are descriptions of colour
