Awesome!
Great metronome, but let's start with the ONE THING that's wrong with it...If there is ONE THING that's wrong with it, that would be the fact that the beats per minute is a bit out of whack. It goes by 2's from 40 to 60, then it goes 63, 66, 69, 72, 76...then it goes by 4's all the way to 120...then by 6's up to 144...then by 8's to 208. So, if you're looking for TOTAL CONTROL down to the EXACT BEATS PER MINUTE, then THIS IS NOT YOUR METRONOME! In other words, if you need exactly 94 beats per minute, you have a choice between 92 or 96. So, if you're in a band or do some recording or whatever, you might need a different metronome that you can dial in to the exact beats per minute that your song requires. But if you're just practicing and doing whatever and don't need to dial in the exact beats per minute, this is very easy to use and highly functional. It's battery operated so it keeps going forever; and it can be powered up using a phone charger! There's also a headphone jack. There's a set of LEDs on the top that bounce back and forth, with one of them changing colors on the first beat. It really gives me a sense of when the beats are coming, and makes it easier to get my "internal metronome" on center. The volume is easy to control, including turning it down to silent (and going with just the LEDs). There's a rhythm control (notes per beat), timing control (from 2/4 to 6/4...and even a "0" where there's no hard beat and it acts like a traditional wind up metronome), and it's easy to adjust the beats per minute.Great metronome for just practicing, not designed for "studio musicians" due to the lack of control over each and every beat per minute from 40 to 200.

Digital yet mechanical
I wasnโt really looking into a digital metronome. I find this, and I grabbed it immediately because it is mechanically operated by digitally controlled. Also, it has a volume control that you cannot find with full mechanical analog metronomes. I would highly recommend this Metronome. It looks old school yet inside it is 21st century. I had purchased a Yamaha full mechanical one it was way too plastic. The plastic quality in this one is much better and this one is also cheaper. I definitely recommend this metronome.

EXCELLENT!
This is by far the best metronome I've found since my dearly beloved 50-year old Franz recently passed away. Outstanding design, features, ease of use, and price -- excellent in all ways!

Nice metronome, corroded batteries
Once I found batteries the metronome worked fine. But the included batteries were corroded. Were they that old, or stored improperly? I hope the metronome holds up better than they did.

Easy to operate
I started learning the piano about 8 months ago and using this metronome has really helped. It is easy to set, adjust, and use. The volume control is a big plus also by not distracting me from reading the music.

An incredibly well designed metronome.
Clearly someone put a lot of thought into this metronome when designing it.It has all the important features of a metronome, but what really makes it stand out is how easy it is to quickly change tempos with the slider. As another reviewer mentioned, the one drawback to this is that the granularity of tempo adjustments is sacrificed. For my purposes this doesn't matter one bit. The LED bouncing back and forth is a nice touch, and the red light indicating the first beat is handy. I also think that the sound it generates is nice for a metronome, and the volume can be adjusted which is important. And to top it off it looks really sleek! The way it mimics the design of a mechanical metronome is cool, and doesn't come off as cheesy.

Saw this in video on rhythm studies.....
Thought I would like a stand alone metronome, and after seeing this model being used by a respected teacher on YouTube I decided to buy it.The unit seems to work fine, the volume ok, but I couldn't figure out how to use the feature on sub-dividing rhythms, so I returned it.I guess I will stick with the metronome on my phone.

Nice Metronome!
Nice metronome - very easy to use has a tempo slider that makes adjusting easy and more accurate. I like the size, its small enough to be portable but sits well on my piano and settings can easily be changed. I like that it has everything you need to get it started, batteries, really good instructions that explain each setting, and a carrying case.
