Best cellphone holder for larger phones. After using several other brands, I stumbled across this one. Solid hold and easy to install. The adhesive is dependable lasting a LONG time (wife has one and its 2 years old and still going strong) Metallica attachment on the back of the phone is light weight as well as sleek. The phone holder itself is nice to have without looking cumbersome when not in use.

"Dash Mount orbitor"Hands down the best phone mount I have ever found. I move cars for a living and I would see these balls attached to the dash and wonder what they were. So I did a bit of research and found out what they were. I then bought a new Semi, and it also had one on the dash. I tried to take it off the dash and couldn't get it to budge, so I took apart the dash to see if it was screwed into the dash and it wasn't. I was like hrmm, what sorta magic is this. Anyway all the pieces were there except the Steelie plate, so for $5 I picked one up to test on my Google Pixel 3XL. If you know Google devices, the fingerprint reader is on the back. So you can't place the plate directly in the center, plus I have an otter box defender case which is a hard case with a rubber surround so I was a bit worried about the plate being able to hold up well. If you read and follow the directions, I don't see how anyone could ever claim there is a problem with either placing it on the dash of their car, or the plate on their phone. As I said before, they use magic to make it work. I have a very strong feeling, those that did not get theirs to properly stick to their dash or phone, also don't know how to follow directions. It clearly states you must clean the surface with the alcohol wipes they provide, and once you place it, it must be kept at a certain temperature range for 24 hours for proper adhesion. It sticks just fine to my rubber other box case, and I bought this one to place in my wife's 2018 Dodge Durango GT which has a soft dash, and it works perfectly fine. Follow the directions, and it too can work it's magic for you. Even though my plate is attached to the lower half of the back of my phone, it stays on the orbitor just fine in my Semi truck and wife's Durango. I highly recommend buying this for your car. I will be installing one in every vehicle we have in our home so no matter whps driving, they always have a safe place to put their phones. Less distraction for drivers.

Magnetic part worked great. Easy connect and release. I’m highly unimpressed by adhesive of the part that sticks to the vehicle. I peeled off the top piece which is supposed to preserve the adhesive before use and stuck it to my vehicle. At first I thought it was all good but then it fell off like 5 seconds later. I then felt that adhesive and it wasn’t sticky at all. Going to have to go to the store to get some double sided tape. It isn’t a huge deal just a pain in the butt. Overall the product seems super sturdy and durable. I’d still recommend.

These are the best phone holders in my opinion , get in the vehicle slap the phone on and go . No need to to turn knows or deal with clasps or clamps in other phone holders

Always been a fan of this company decided to try the mount. Magnets are strong (as expected) only issue is maintaining viewing angle as the center of the holder isn’t designed to maintain exact positioning of phone consistently. Just something to be aware of when purchasing and subsequently placing the mount. If you’re able to put it somewhere a part of your dash will immobilize it from pulling down that can help. It’s not going to fall just slide at awkward angles that make it hard to see the screen.

I bought this dash mount phone holder for myself a couple of months ago due to the advice of a friend. I didn't realize how handy it would be until I had installed it. I was a little skeptical about how well it would attach, and if it would actually stay in place while I was driving, but so far it works perfectly. My phone easily sticks onto the dash magnet and stays in position no matter however I arrange it. I had to cut a hole in the back of my Otterbox to accommodate the provided metal disk that connects to the dash magnet, which is something you may want to consider, depending on the phone cover you have. Another thing to consider is what type of dash you have to attach it to. It needs at least a full square inch or more of a smooth, hard surface on the car dash for the adhesive pad to stick to. For me the biggest advantage is when I'm using my GPS. I also like the fact that it keeps my phone out of my hands while I'm driving, eliminating the temptation to thumb through my phone while driving. If I start having problems down road, I will come back to let you know.

Love mine… best phone holder out there… only draw back is if you use the wireless charger system on your phone the round metal disc that attaches to your phone interferes with that type of charger

This is the only phone holder that I have ever loved. The magnet is strong. My phone does not fall off when driving over washboard dirt roads. I buy them for friends and family. I buy them for strangers and hand them out at football games.

I have tried every kind of car phone mount there is on the market. My VW Tiguan doesn't work well with most of them - for example, the cup holders are further back so a cup holder mount doesn't work. The dash has a big square indent right where a dash mount would normally go so that didn't work either. This little steelie was the perfect thing for my car. It's really small and unobtrusive and the magnet is amazing! It is so handy, no messing around with opening a clasp to insert the phone into the mount. You just put it near the mount and it immediately magnets to the exact right spot. Having the magnet on my phone case is also not obvious at all. This is a great product and I'm really happy with it.

I tried other phone holders and the phone just kept falling out of the cradle. This is tiny, discreet and totally effective. I didnt want to keep the magnet part on the back of my phone so I left another phone protection cover in the car and simply switch covers when using the phone in the car. I have an Audi 1.
