I bought this to change the brakes on my car, the brake disc is usually rusted to the hub pretty good and doesn't come off. Somehow I couldn't find my regular mallet, probably someone forgot to return it to me or something. Anyway, I decided I'd get a new one and this worked really well. It feels strong and stable, I wasn't entirely 100% sure about a fibreglass handle but it seems strong enough to me. I don't see any movement in the union with the head of the hammer. It worked just great and I was giving it pretty solid whacks too. Would recommend.

I use this for dismantling used timber that is nailed or bolted together for which I used to use a lump hammer and crowbar but broke the wood hammer handle. This saves me time as I now rarely use the crowbar as with this hammer, I can easily just knock things apart. The shaft is just the right length and balance for one handed use but you can also use it with two hands when needed. It is one of those tools that gives satisfaction when using it! Holding it close to the head you could also use it as a lump hammer.

Great bit of kit! Cheap will last a lifetime probably very well made.

Used this to destroy a couple of old concrete paths and worked well. Concrete was up to 5 inches in places and a few good swings saw it away. I was knackered but the hammer handled it all fine.

Good nothing special

This is my third purchase of Wiesemann and I'm very happy with them all. Great quality and functionality for the price.
