XREAL One Pro AR Glasses with X1 Chip, 171" 120Hz FHD Display, Native 3 DoF

I have now had the Xreal One’s and hub for over 6 months so now I can give an honest review.I travel a lot with work and spend so much time sitting in airports, on airplanes and in hotels. These glasses have been a god send in all honesty. I can watch movies from my phone on what appears to be a cinema size screen right in front of me.When I first used them, I found the image was slightly blurred. After setting up the Pupillary Distance (PD) this was a little better. In the end I solved the issue by ordering some corrective lenses from a company that was suggested by Xreal. There was a voucher in the box to save some money and they came within a week.The display quality is excellent, once I had purchased the corrective lenses. The three modes are also very useful depending on the situation.When sitting in the airport or couch I use fixed mode. Were the display is locked in position. This allows me to move my head and talk to people.Next we have follow mode, were the screen moves depending where I am looking. This is great for sitting on the airplanes as you do not realise how many little turns the airplane is actually doing. When I first tried them on an airplane in fixed mode… the screen kept wandering off to the side. The follow mode cures this issue.The final mode is docked mode, where the screen is shrunk into a top corner. This is great when I am walking around Tesco’s pushing the trolley for the wife and watching youTube on my phone 😊The Bose speakers fitted into the arms are also very good. The sounds quality is high when sitting at home, or even in the airport but when on the plane, they are not powerful enough to overcome the background noise. The solution is easy, I switch to my in-ear head phones. I have also tried them with my over-ear headphones but found that these pushed the arms into my head a little so gave me a sore ear.I use the glasses for watching movies on my phone, playing games on my Steamdeck and I have also used them on my Laptop when I had to do some heavy spreadsheet work when in a hotel. The 15’’ laptop screen was a pain trying to navigate the whole spreadsheet, but switch the to glasses and the massive screen allowed me to see all the data I needed to see.Though expensive, especially when you factor in the corrective lenses and hub, I would still highly recommend them. I was going to give them 4 stars due to the sound when in a noisier environment but I am not sure if this can be sorted without using headphones, and it does not distract from them one bit.Another reason I did not dock a star was that I used their customer service when I had an issue with my hub and they dealt with it quickly and efficiently. I had a replacement with 24 hours of reporting the issue.

Now, firstly, I am returning these, because I have a rather weird head - my ears are quite high and I have a bump in my nose - so without significant modifications (ear pads & nose bridge adaptor), they’re not suitable for me. They do have 3 levels of arm adjustments, which probably works for the majority of folks, but for me: I have a small head, these were almost the opposite adjustments to what I needed unfortunately.I really wanted to be able to keep these. They are really surprisingly good. If you’re a taller female, they’ll be fine, for me, as a smaller female, with a bumpy nose, I just couldn’t wear them for more than an hour or two without experiencing nose pain. I really wish XReal sold the nose bridge attachments that all their users recommend: it’s the oakley jawbraker nose bridge that everyone raves about. Unfortunately they’re not rapidly available in the UK (take about 3-4 weeks to ship here) and I wanted to take these glass-monitors away on a long business trip with me asap. So, I wouldn’t have time to wait for delivery, test & return within the return window if required.I have to be clear: these are really AMAZING and the future of portable monitors. I’m packing my physical portable monitors (800g each, with much worse screen resolution than these glasses) with a bit of a sad sign today tbh. I really am sad to not be packing away, uh, a SUNGLASSES sized case which has better resolution and incredible portability instead.My priority for getting these was for spreadsheets/ text/ email/ you know work stuff on the go… and these are beyond fine, they’re actually really good. If you’re a taller female or a male I’d definitely give these a go - they’re just 100% the way forward if you want a portable extra monitor. I watched a bunch of youtube videos before selecting these ones: my main reason is their high compatability with apple mac products. It really is a case of click the cable in & go. Tested with macbook air, ipad pro, ipad mini, iphone 15 & 16. For iphones below 15, apple didn’t support video display from the power ports back then, so no joy (although there are 3rd party adaptors you can get). You can literally leave so many devices back home.Having fully tested these, I see what apple is sticking with the vision pro at 3.5k…. Because THESE portable monitors in a pair of glasses is actually the future. You can get the smallest sized laptop now & use these on the go. Some people are using them with their macmini’s! A huge fan, I just hope the company starts adding more ‘modification’ accessories, because wearable devices = different types of faces = need customisation. I love them and was beyond sad to return them. I would love to use these for work trips/ train commutes/ hell even plonking myself down in a coffee shop at work (or on the weekend) and getting some work done. Great for confidentiality if you don’t want anyone looking over your shoulder at what you’re working on.One thing to note - in clamshell mode these don’t work (apple reasons, not the fault of the xreal) but there’s an app available to bypass this (third party app store, not xreal app) that you can use your macbook in clamshell while hooked up to these glasses.I hope xReal adds more of their products for sale on amazon & starts adding accessories, this product is amazing.

Having tested a wide range of XR glasses, including some of the most expensive options available, the XREAL One Pro stands out as one of the best products currently on the market.The display is bright, immersive, and delivers an excellent viewing experience. Everything from media consumption to gaming feels polished and enjoyable. More importantly, the entire XREAL ecosystem continues to set the benchmark for user experience and functionality. The software is reliable, the accessories work as intended, and the whole package feels like a finished product rather than a collection of features still under development.One thing I quickly realised after testing multiple brands is that specifications only tell part of the story. A wider field of view or higher brightness means very little if the software and user experience aren’t there to support it. XREAL consistently delivers one of the most refined XR experiences available today.The only real downside I experienced was some edge blur, which is an inherent limitation of current prism optics rather than a fault with the glasses themselves. Prism optics offer a more immersive experience and eliminate many of the reflections associated with birdbath optics, but the trade-off is that edge-to-edge clarity isn’t quite perfect.That said, XREAL has executed prism optics better than any other manufacturer I’ve tested. While the edge blur is still present, it is less distracting and better controlled than on competing products. If you’re specifically looking for a prism-based XR experience, these are currently the best implementation I’ve used.Personally, I still slightly prefer the XREAL 1s due to the sharper image and optical characteristics of its birdbath design. However, for those who prioritise immersion and want one of the most polished XR experiences available, the XREAL One Pro is an excellent choice and a product I would happily recommend.

I've got a Quest 3, Vision Pro, and had a Quest 2 before, so I'm pretty familiar with this kind of tech. I grabbed the XREAL One mainly for travel. The Vision Pro is amazing but lugging that thing onto a plane isn't exactly convenient. Honestly wasn't sure what to expect with these, but I'm actually really impressed.Right off the bat, I need to address the whole productivity thing. You'll see people claiming they can code all day on these or use them as a second monitor, but if you're expecting that, there's a good chance you'll be disappointed. Text has noticeable aliasing and while it's technically usable, it's not something I'd want to do for extended periods. But for watching movies, gaming, YouTube, whatever? They're genuinely fantastic. The 1080p OLED display looks way better than the specs would suggest.The blacks are properly inky and the colors are really vibrant. It's rated at 600 nits but I don't even like using max brightness. The middle setting is perfect for most indoor use, and full brightness in a dark room is honestly too bright, which I guess is good for battery life. Oh, and if you're using it with your phone, you're just mirroring the display, so make sure to turn your phone's brightness down or you'll kill the battery.Pro tip: the default "Vivid" mode actually makes things look worse by crushing the blacks and whites. Switch it to "Natural" mode (you might need to update the firmware first). Much better contrast and the colors still look great.The field of view isn't huge but it's plenty big enough to feel like you're watching on a massive screen. There are three display modes and I like the one where the screen follows your head so it's always centered, but you can lock it in place or do a picture-in-picture thing too. The tracking is really smooth and feels natural even though it's only tracking rotation.The transparency levels are actually really handy. You can adjust how much you see through the lenses, and there's this cool feature where if you're in fixed mode and look away from the screen, it automatically cranks the transparency up so you can see what's around you. Pretty clever for staying aware of your surroundings.The controls are all on the right wing of the glasses, four buttons that are customizable. You'll get the hang of them pretty quickly and it's nice being able to adjust settings without needing to mess with your phone or device.XREAL calls these "XR" glasses but they're really not in the same category as the Quest 3 or Vision Pro. This isn't VR, there's no hand tracking, no apps, no virtual environments. I guess "XR" is just a marketing term because we don't really have a good name for what these actually are, which is just a really great display in glasses form. And honestly? That's completely fine. If you don't care about VR and just want an incredible portable screen for watching content, these are amazing value for money.Compared to my other headsets? At home for a proper movie experience, I'd go with the Vision Pro. But for just chilling and watching stuff, I'd honestly pick these over the Quest 3. Yeah the resolution is a bit lower but the OLED quality, those blacks, the colors, and how much lighter these are makes up for it. And for travel? No contest, these are perfect. Way more compact and practical than either the Quest or Vision Pro.The audio is okay, nothing special. I'd just use your own earphones. Only thing that bugs me is I wish there was a way to turn off your device's screen automatically when you start watching something, but that's more on the phone/device side than the glasses.I'd give these a 9.5/10, would be a perfect 10 with that screen-off feature. They're pretty much perfect for travel and watching stuff, and if you don't need VR features, they're incredible value compared to the alternatives.

I purchased the XReal One Pro mainly for its dependable 3DoF tracking. I had seen a lot of praise for these and Viture, but many of those reviews appeared sponsored, and after some research, I decided to try the XReal One Pro myself.✔️ Media PerformanceThis is where the glasses perform best. The anchored virtual screen works well, and the follow‑with‑stabilization mode is surprisingly comfortable. Image quality is good, and while the built‑in speakers are fine, headphones offer a much better experience. For watching content on the go—commuting or traveling—they’re a solid choice.❌ Not for Everyday UseThese glasses aren’t suitable for daily wear. Their design and lens placement create a visible band that obstructs part of your field of view even when off. Some reviewers even used them while driving, which I wouldn’t recommend.❌ Productivity LimitationsAs a portable monitor replacement, they fall short. Full‑screen text lacks the clarity needed for extended work, and eye fatigue would likely be an issue. They’re okay for quick tasks but nowhere near a true monitor experience.⚠️ Other ConsiderationsThe glasses only mirror your phone’s screen, so your phone must stay on. Samsung DeX solves this, but not all Android users have that option.The new Real3D feature works better than expected for images and videos, though it’s more of a novelty.The frame does heat up after a while—not a deal‑breaker unless it gets worse, but noticeable.💰 Price vs. ValueOne of the biggest drawbacks is the cost. Compared to something like a Quest headset, these are far more comfortable and much less isolating. If your main goal is media consumption, they’re genuinely impressive. If you're hoping to replace a monitor or boost productivity, you'll likely be disappointed.

The quality is just not there yet, and bear in mind these are the top tier glasses.Text is not as clear as people falsely claim. Although sure high resolution you can still see small pixels and never seems like a smooth picture.

The XREAL One Pro is hands down the best XR glasses you can get right now if your priority is hassle-free productivity and media consumption. These are the only glasses that offer features like drift-free 3DOF, 6DOF, follow mode, 2D-3D conversion and screen resizing without any asterisks or downsides.And before you say, "Wait a minute? Other XR glasses can do that stuff too!", these are the only glasses that do all of this completely on-board! No software needed, hardware agnostic. All of these features work with anything, even with consoles for example. And it does them very well. The X1 chip really seperates XREAL from other XR glasses I tried. The on-board interface is slick, and the entire package really feels premium overall.The only thing I will say is that the initial unit I receieved from Amazon was defective, but XREAL were very quick to issue me a replacement unit without any hassle or extra charges on my end. It took less than a week, and the support was very kind overall. Things happen and it's nice to know that the team behind the product treat their customers with care.I have been using these mainly for productivity (coding on the go, remote desktop) and entertainment (movies, shows, YouTube etc.). The experience really is awesome and it feels good enough to not be a gimmick at all. Just ensure you are getting the correct size for your IPD, this is incredibly important or you will have a very noticiably worse experience.The screen really does appear to be gigantic when scaled to max size/distance, yet you can also bring it close and small so it replicates a small monitor instead. The screen is clear for me personally edge to edge, definitely softer on the edges, but still completely readable and comfortable to use. Compared to competitors, this product feels the best all-around, and is the only one that didn't make me feel like I regretted the purchase/bought into a gimmick.Overall, would definitely recommend these if you want a large, beautiful screen on the go or when at home etc. in situations where you can't have a massive TV. These are definitely the future of spacial content, will be using them all the time.

UN OTTIMO ACQUISTOHo utilizzato in ogni occasione possibile e testato per oltre un mese le caratteristiche, i settaggi e le applicazioni "lavorative" nonché ludiche di questi occhiali XR.Posso asserire che in mobilità sono "ASSOLUTAMENTE ECCEZIONALI" in quanto mi permettono tramite smartphone (Samsung S23 Ultra + tastiera Bluetooth) o collegandoli (tramite USB C) al PC portatile di fare le stesse cose che faccio in ufficio ...ma dal treno, in stazione, in albergo o in un bar...La qualità, la luminosità e la nitidezza dell'immagine sono eccellenti, non sono in 4K... ma uno schermo fino a 147" a 120 Hz, anche guardando film in alta qualità, non mi hanno mai fatto rimpiangere il mio monitor Odyssey o il mio televisore 4K.Ribadisco, la forza di questi dispositivi è quella di avere con sé ovunque, nell'ingombro di un paio di occhiali un mega schermo che, nella modalità ultra wide curvo raggiunge i 310 pollici. Significa lavorare su più file, programmi, App, contemporaneamente nella massima riservatezza (vedete solo voi).L'audio BOSE è a dir poco "fenomenale" ma, naturalmente, in luoghi pubblici molto silenziosi -per non disturbare gli altri- o nel trambusto di una stazione -per avere maggiore nitidezza- un paio di cuffie saranno sicuramente benvenute.Tornando all'uso di questi XREAL ONE posso dire che anche per sessioni prolungate di LAVORO sia esso editing che uso di applicativi non mi hanno fatto avvertire alcun affaticamento o fastidio agli occhi, anzi, mi hanno ringiovanito in quanto davanti al monitor devo usare gli occhiali da vista mentre indossando gli XREAL non ho problemi a leggere i testi (pertanto non ho dovuto comprare lenti aggiuntive).Ora parliamo del software di questi XREAL ONE che, a differenza di altri occhiali XR che ho provato, è presente un Chip (X1) che li fa funzionare al massimo delle prestazioni senza istallare nulla sui dispositivi a cui si collegano. La moltitudine di settaggi che siano video (dimensioni schermo, distanza, posizione, trasparenza...), audio (volume, formato sorgente, ...), della distanza tra le pupille per una visione adatta a ogni viso è gestita dagli occhiali rendendo tutto più facile e immediato.In pratica sappiate che, indossando gli occhiali e collegandoli a una qualsiasi fonte video, potrete visualizzare davanti a voi uno schermo di dimensioni e distanza a vostro piacimento che può seguire il vostro sguardo o fissarsi nello spazio in un determinato punto e rimanere come se fosse realmente e fisicamente lì finché non deciderete di spostarlo consentendovi di vedere il mondo intorno a voi con la massima naturalezza.Ad onore del vero segnalo che in treno e in aereo sarà più utile tenere lo schermo in modalità "sempre davanti agli occhi" perché i sensori degli occhiali risentono dei cambiamenti di direzione e quindi, se ancorate lo schermo potrà subire degli spostamenti in funzione delle "virate" del mezzo su cui viaggiate.In definitiva è l'unico paio di occhiali XR per i quali ho accolto di buon grado il costo, che seppur non sia trascurabile, mi consente di avere tra le mani un ottimo prodotto che mi consente di lavorare e anche svagarmi ovunque mi trovi senza "impazzire" sullo schermo del telefonino o sul mini monitor di tablet o PC.

I had the previous generation xreal glasses and they were very good with a few annoying problems. This generation Xreal one fixes all of the problems with the previous generation and add more features. One of the most useful features is the ability to pin the virtual screen to real world space meaning you can move your head to the right and you see the image being left on your left side as your face turns away from it. While this is required for augmented reality, even for a more practical use, which is watching a movie on an airplane on a virtual 100 inch plus screen it is very handy to be able to turn your head slightly away to focus on something in the real world, merely by moving your head without having to fumble for your phone to hit the pause button or taking off your glasses completely. In fact, a feature in these glasses that is combined with the screen being to the physical direction is the ability for the glasses to turn off the black background temporarily when you shift your head away from where the screen is. When you are watching something on the virtual screen, it is very useful for the glasses to enable their black filters which prevents outside light from coming through the virtual screen. This was something that the old generation had as well, but this new generation can now toggle that black filter automatically as you turn your head to look away from the virtual screen, making the glasses be completely see-through to where you can see whatever you are looking at. Another cool feature is a virtual big screen meaning that not the entire entirety of the virtual screen is visible at the same time. So for example, in normal virtual screen mode, you don’t have to move your head or your eyeballs really to see the entire screen because all of it is in your field of view. With the big screen feature turned on the image is projected onto a virtual screen that is bigger than the LCD panels in the glasses, which would simulate the type of experience that you would have in the movie theater if you were sitting toward the front of the theater. Where you only see about 60% of the screen directly in front of you and you have to turn your head left or right to see the rest of the screen. This is actually a more natural way for us to view things because in the real life you tend to turn your head, slightly left or right or up or down as you’re looking around. And finally a third feature of these glasses, which is a little bit more advanced to get into but nonetheless very cool is if you have a video game that is capable of turning on virtual reality mode using “side-by-side“ then these glasses can actually act as VR glasses not just AR glasses. I have done this successfully with the video game called elite dangerous where turning on side-by-side 3-D mode creates a screen that is essentially 19 20 x 1080 x 2 meaning it’s actually 38 40 x 10 80. The left half being your left eye and the right half being your right eye. Using settings that are built right into the glasses you can enable this mode and it will split that very wide signal coming from your video game into a left eye and right eye allow allowing you to see full 3-D imagery as you are navigating your way in the video game. This is exactly what VR glasses costing hundreds of dollars more will also do, but in a much more compact and cheaper set of glasses. I highly recommend anyone that travels to buy these glasses to have a huge screen to watch movies on or do computer work on a flight and for anybody else that wants to have a portable large screen experience right from your phone or laptop anywhere you happen to be even if that is in your bedroom.
