Light Up Your Life! 💡
The LED MR16 Spotlight is a powerful 12V, 4W replacement for traditional 50W halogen bulbs, offering 340 lumens of warm white light at 3200K. With a 45-degree beam angle, it combines energy efficiency with durability, lasting up to five times longer than halogen alternatives while generating minimal heat.

nice but...
I bought this bulb for $10 back in Feb 2012, now it's $14.99.I like that it has light out the sides for my indoor, ceiling, down light fixtures, with glass shades. They're similar to regular incandescent MR16s in that respect. Haven't seen any other LED bulbs that do that. What I don't like is that its light has a slight green tint. Also, the pins on mine pushed in; however a couple spots of super glue works easily, without any waiting time.I agree that the brightness is similar to about a 30watt incandescent. Although that's hard to compare as the beam width varies a lot across MR16 bulbs.I'm now comparing this with the G7 MR16 at $13.99. The G7 has a lifetime warranty (assuming the company is around that long). I bought one of each to compare. (G7 Power is also on Amazon.)They have similar brighness. The G7 color is just about perfect - no green. but it doesn't have the light out the sides. If this bulb were still $10, I'd suffer the greenish tint. But at $1 more than the G7, it's a difficult decision...Update: I just found this same bulb (hopefully) on Amazon, from a different seller: "ledCREElight", for $8.99. Ordered x3. Be careful to check 1) wattage, 2) 3200k, 3) beam width. There are several combinations available. The lifetime warranty on the G7 is very attractive, and it's a nice bulb. But for $8.99, I'm going to go with these and keep my fingers crossed.Update 2: Received and installed three more from "ledCREElight"(Amazon). Just confirming that they are IDENTICAL to this item, but still only $8.99 each (4/29/12). Same color (slight green tint) but with All bulbs the same (no incandescent or other 'warm' LEDs in close proximity), the color difference isn't really noticeable. Even the box for these three was identical, too. Oh, one of the 3 came with a loose ring and lenses. A simple push and slight twist put it back together again. RE: the pins pushing in... It turns out that one of my lamp fixture sockets requires a tad more force to insert the bulb than the other sockets, so that's what was causing the pins to push in. Still, a dot of super glue does the trick.

Outdoor Life Limited
I ordered 20 of them to replace the existing halogens in my landscape lights. So far I installed only one, but it has been good for a couple weeks. The light is an adequate replacement for my 50W halogens with a warm color instead of the ice white normally found with LED's. I look forward to replacing more and saving electricity and cash.**Update 4/5/14** I installed the remaining 19 bulbs with no issues. All work fine and I had no problems with the pins. I am so pleased with the bulbs, I am ordering another 10 for another project.**Update 1/20/2015**Of the 30 I ordered, half of them are now bad. The average life of the bad ones was about 10 months. The electric cost savings (@ $.11/KWH) of 46W versus a 50W halogen is about $.05 per 10 hour day. So, they paid for themselves in about 2 months, but I was hoping for a longer bulb life. I am going to try another version that is designed for outdoor use at slightly higher costs for comparison.

Don't last
I purchased 6 of these bulbs and a 6 pack of the 2.5x more expensive Triangle Bulbs MR16s featuring Cree LEDs for comparison in my landscape flood lights. The specs on the Cree LED bulbs were wider (60 degree beam) and brighter (480) Lumens.First impressions: These bulbs look very similar to the more expensive ones, but they are a bit lighter. Perhaps there is less heat sinking in them? The build quality still seemed decent on them.Installation: These bulbs are very slightly longer than the standard halogen and the more expensive LEDs. The front of them hit the glass on my floodlight lens. I can't tell if it is preventing the weather seal from seating or not. It's raining today, so if I find the enclosures filled with water, I guess I'll know. I did not have any problems with pins pushing in on any of the bulbs.Performance: The light output and color was very similar to the more expensive bulbs. It is a tiny bit cooler than the halogen color temp, but it still looks great in the yard. The 45 degreem beam spread is noticeably different than the 60 degree spread on the more expensive bulbs. My preference is for the 60 degree. I'd even prefer wider than that if I could find them. One of the six bulbs arrived defective with only 2 of the 4 LEDs on it working. Lack of quality control must be how they offer these bulbs at two bucks including shipping.Longevity: Hopefully it takes a decade or two before I have to replace any of these LED bulbs. I'll have my robot personal assistant update this review with the bulb's longevity at that time. Conclusion: These are a great value for landscape bulbs. I am on the fence whether I will purchase more of these or go with the more expensive bulbs. I like the wider angle of those, their heft, and the good reputation of Cree LEDs. If they really last 20 years at my usage rate, the extra cost isn't very important. I give it 4 stars. 3 for performance + 1 for value.UPDATE 8/2/15. It has now been about 18 months since I installed these in my outdoor light fixtures, and just about all of them have failed now. Extremely disappointing. I ran some experiments and left the glass front off some of the lights in case it was heat buildup reducing the lifespan but the bulbs in those fixtures still failed. I haven't worked out yet whether the energy savings of these bulbs that cost more than the halogens they replaced offset the higher cost or not. Either way, I am tired of changing bulbs in my 18 fixtures. It seems like one is always going out. I'd be happy paying more if there were really a bulb that would last 50K hours in that application. Reducing my rating from 4 stars to 2 based on longevity.
