does the job, no distortion, nice quality to it. would recommend.

Build and operation is good. Nice carry case and the lens and clamp are quality. Nicely machined, with a premium feel. Unfortunately though, if your camera has a raised bump, it might not (like mine) sit squarely with the surface of the phones lens Took 4 photos 1) Main phone camera 2) wide angle phone camera 3) Main camera with Neewer Lens 4) Wide angle camera with Neewer lens. Using the Lens with the main camera, it didn't produce as wide an image as the wide angle camera on the phone. And if you use it with the wide angle lens of the phone, it then shows part of the Neewer lens surround. (see pics). So for me, it doesn't surpass my wide angle lens on my phone, which is a 112 degree lens. So will have to return it, unfortunately.

Good idea but needs wider aperture and the ability to autofocus even with stability. Not worth the cost.

It’s OK. I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max. The first thing is that it appears well made and fits nicely into the Neewer cage I have. As you would expect a 400mm lens you need a steady hand or a tripod. I am disappointed with the quality of the pictures. The first two are from the 5x optical zoom of the iPhone and then the flower enlarged from that. The second two are the lens and zooming into the flower to roughly the same size. The second zoom is clearly better than the first, but then the first is manually cropped greater as it has to go in much further than the second. I found it difficult to get the zoom spot on via the phone screen. It moves smoothly on the lens, just the screen appears in focus for a small range of movement of the lens zoom. So you could take three different photos that all appeared in focus on the screen, but two won’t be. The one that is shown is as clear as I could get it ands I’m not a fan of the clarity. Unfortunately, it was not new. The seal on the box was cut and, while in very good condition, it was not new, so returning it. Won’t be ordering a new one.

Yes it gives high magnification, but the image is not that great on a iPhone 15 Pro Max. Pity!

My phone camera is very basic android and so this amplified my closeup photography very well. Great value for the money. Would buy again!

La verdad que el resultado a sido superior a las espectativas. Muy contento. Obviamente hay q tener buen pulso para que la imagen no se mueva mucho si haces tomas a mucha distancia, pero va GENIAL
