Lodge 10FB2 Deep Fry Basket, 10.25-inch

This is the one to buy for the 10.5" skillet. But it is *not* made of stailness steel and nickle plated - It rusts! Not much of a problem if one is using it for frying in oil.

Bought this to hold me over while my deep fryer is being repaired. Doesn't even fit a massive la creuset dutch oven. Let alone my lodge. The frame under the net is bigger than the basket and it prevents the basket from sitting at the bottom of the pot properly. The thing that is supposed to hook it on the side when not in use holds it very lopsided so the front is much lower.Can't cook fries or anything because the oil level would have to be so high above a third to even reach where the basket sits It would make frying a hazard because everything would boil over. Probably just going to throw this thing out. Don't own a pan wide enough to even fit it inside properly.Would not recommend this product. The frame on the bottom makes it not fit anything. It is larger than the bottom of the basket. If it wasn't for that this would have been a perfect fit. Would have to buy a size smaller than what you think will fit your pan due to the bottom x frame.

Pics can be deceiving and was wondering how it would fit my Lodge dutch oven. Fits perfectly and I could easily store this with my dutch oven when not in use- the foldable handle is very handy. Leaves enough space for a thermometer when doing some deep frying.

This product has just the right depth to do deep frying, a collapsing handle which allows for very easy storage, a flat fryer bottom for maximizing the amount of food that could be fried in one pass and can be hooked on the side of the fryer to allow the oil to be drained after frying. All of these advantages have firmed my belief that this wire mesh fryer basket is the best I have seen and used and I therefore can highly recommend it for purchase by anyone.

The quality of the deep fry basket seemed to be good but unfortunately I had to return it. It was way too big and does not fit in any of my pots (and I do have two very large dutch pots). This size may have been designed for industrial use. However, I did purchase the smaller size 8" but have not used it as yet, hope I will not be disappointed.

Es ligero pero resistente, aguanta perfecto el aceite caliente y embona muy bien el las ollas lodge, la agarradera se dobla para el almacenaje, por el precio en que la compre(en oferta) estoy contento con la compra.
