How does this come packaged?

In a paper bag, in another paper bag inside a plastic bag, then in a box...that is the 50#. I have no experience with smaller packaging.

Does it kill trees and bushes in a pond

It should not, however, we've only used it in the lake on our shoreline to kill snails and stop lake itch.

Need to have some sort of scale to see how big the creystals are, is this like cat litter or pea gravel

This is 3-5MM in size and can fit 3-5 pieces on a dime piece.

Can i sprinkle this to kill and stop little oak trees from growing?

I'm not sure, I use it in our drain fields to help kill the roots that can invade there so it might help maybe worth a try.
