OKAIDI 5" Screen Pan-Tilt-Zoom Video Baby Monitor with 2 Cameras No WiFi

I had the hellobaby monitor for a little over a year before the sound completely stopped working. The receiving sound was always difficult to hear and I truly disliked the quality of picture and sound for the price. After the hellobaby monitor started making an awful crackling noise, I decided to find something more affordable. When I first opened the Amazon box I thought I had made a mistake and ordered another hellobaby because the boxes are almost identical. Even the parent unit looks almost exactly the same and the cameras are similar. The setup is super easy. Just plug it in and turn it on and both cameras were already paired. The sound and picture quality is excellent compared to the hellobaby at a fraction of the cost. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. The parent unit interface looks exactly the same as the hellobaby, the only difference is there is no clock on the okaidi, just a timer. We have three levels in our home and have zero connection issues from the top floor to the basement. The battery life is excellent. It last all night off the charger as long as the screen is timed out. You can easily turn it on and off with the side button but still have sound when it’s off. Since the monitor doesn’t have WiFi there’s no risk of hacking. Overall this is a 5 star for me because the price and quality are excellent.

I actually have four total cameras that we have hooked up to one baby monitor. It has made life so much easier with so many young kids. When we hear suspicious noises we can look up on camera and see if they're in bed or not or if they're doing something they shouldn't, or just check in on them when they've been really quiet, you know. . . The suspicious quiet. We also love that we can yell at them to get back in bed or to be quieter. It is such an upgrade from the simple audio ones.

This is a pretty good monitor. Everything was pre-configured so setup was easy. The remote pan is nice; if you place the camera right, it can cover a lot of area. Image quality on the remote is 'just OK' but it gets the job done. The audio is not very loud, though.

Update to add… Finally dropped it.. the entire screen popped off and now it doesn’t work. Works great unless life happens.. I've been using a baby monitor in my home for 4 years now and I wish I bought this one to begin with as this is now my 3rd monitor I've purchased because the other ones just don't last. This one is far better than my previous purchases and not a bad price at all! The zoom capability is amazing. The camera has a 360 degree pivot so I can see what my little ones are doing in all areas of their rooms. I haven't tested the distance of the connection yet tho. The ONLY thing I don't love about it is having to go into the main menu to turn the volume down. The previous monitors I had just had volume buttons on the side so it seemed easier/quicker to turn it down when needed. Other than that, the sound is great, the zoom and picture quality is amazing, my kiddos love the lullaby ability when they're playing (like a background noise for them), and the set up was extremely easy.
