Good price for a 1Tb SATA as an Upgrade
I decided to upgrade my aged Inspiron 1525 laptop's SATA 250Gb with this 1Tb SATA HDD. It was such a find just for the price. Although, 1Tb are so common these days, the price marginally agreed with me - could have been lower, but I decided to buy 4, anyway. Compared to the older drive this new one is just a tad thinner, and much lighter. I realize late in my intention that some older bios cannot handle a certain storage capacity, applying the last firmware/bios update for this "Jesus" - the 1Tb was able to run on the laptop with Win11pro, none-the-less. I was thrilled with the unexpected outcome, earlier I thought "CRAP! - I should have taken the time to research my laptop's specs' profile!", I was lucky that at the end of it all - everything worked out. I might add that originally, on Win10pro, the laptop seem to be just a smidge faster than on Win11pro, perhaps I have given the old "bag-of-bones" more than its hardware's limit, or it could just be me.

Good replacement HDD
Used for a replacement HDD for my laptop where the HDD went out prematurely. Replaced it and reinstalled Windows with no issue.

Worked great as replacement Dont send an older laptop to Dell for repairs use a local shop or do it yourself Dell sent it back unrepaired

Bad Packaging
The hard drive arrived seams perfect Not used yet, the packaging I am Not happy with, it came in a flimsy thin padded very small paper envelope then placed in a large plastic envelope.Even if it worked and has NO defects on first startup, I believe that All trowing and bashing along the way has serious consequences in the long run that will Shaw up later on out of warranty.This package would be OK if I collected it myself and gently placed on the car seat and took it gently home.I have had many hard drives dad after the 30 days warranty even the replacement warranty.
