I see two versions of this game here on Amazon. Which will give me the better (more fun) experience?

As of 2020, the cultural references are a good bit less dated in the current version: the older one is basically 80s-era. But that's just chrome -- and subordinate chrome at that; general conspiracy zaniness is more dominant. The play experience of the two is not significantly different.
