Worked perfectly. Quick and easy ordereding. Easy DIY instructions for installation that anyone can do. Just like OEM and excellent quality. Install last week and haven't had any issues so far and has been holding up just fine.

Our vehicle (Chevy impala)repeatedly kept shutting the car down by setting off the security feature whenever the key would be placed into the ignition. This required a 10 minute reset process before we could try to turn the car on again. We replaced the ignition switch and haven’t had the issue since! The switch fit perfectly, was very simple to replace, and is performing as we expected. It is well made and we would purchase it again in a heartbeat. It is sooo worth sparing ourselves the headache of having to reset the car system every other time we tried to start it.

Poorly made Puter metals that do not slide correctly and do not lock. The switch can be turned without a key and the key is so cheaply made that it feel fake. I believe the outside was made from a old mold from GM and the inside is all fake. This mechanism dose not turn the vehicle computer all the way off and drains the vehicles batteries. I am an A.S.E Mechanic, and this is trash.

I got this for $17 dollars, The key machines in the stores want to charge me $29 for 1 key. The cylinder needed changing our anyway so this was much cheaper than even getting 1 key made.

The door lock cylinder the plastic part was broken but I took the old plastic from the old lock cylinder and then it worked. The ignition fit perfectly

Ignition went out in my 01 Monte Carlo, removed the old one and replaced it with this one, and followed the 30-minute passlock relearn procedure and it worked great!! key turns flawlessly and works everytime. This will save you a ton of money!! Easily do-able by yourself in about 2 hours. A little tip about the passlock relearn, is make sure all the doors are closed and the trunk is closed before beginning. Great part for the price!!

I had been dealing with my Passlock problem for over a year, sometimes sitting for half an hour at a gas station trying to start my car and waiting for the Passlock to reset. I was dreading what it was going to cost to fix so I was just living with it. If finally got so bad that I had to look into possible fixes and after researching on the internet this seemed to be a likely problem and a relatively inexpensive place to start. Replacing it was very simple and ever since I had had no issues. I wish I had done it long ago!
