Why does this not come with the power adaptore if its a new product ?

This product has been terminated for many years, an adapter can be found on Amazon, still a Masterpiece of a product from Sony.

Does it have digital ptich control can it slowdown music?

I looked in the owner's manual. It doesn't seem to have a pitch control. You're probably going to need to purchase a high-end model to find that feature (if it's available).
