Dragon Post: The perfect enchanting gift book with fun lift-the-flap letters to open, for kids age 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (The Post Bag) : Yarlett, Emma, Yarlett, Emma: desertcart.co.uk: PC & Video Games Review: A Heartwarming Read 🐉 ✉️ - One day little Alex finds a baby dragon hiding in the cupboard under his stairs. He knows that dragons can breathe fire and is worried the dragon will set fire to the house so he writes to the fire brigade to ask them what he should do. He then wants to know what the dragon should eat so he writes to the butcher, plus he also needs to know if the living conditions are right for the dragon, so he writes to the wildlife centre. Alex receives handwritten letters back from everyone he writes to, plus he also receives a letter from a solicitor too. Dragon Post is a brilliantly funny book that not only lets the child read the story, it also lets them join in by being able to open five letters from various people. The story is told and written by Alex in what looks like crayon and child-like handwriting. It is a tale of friendship and also about asking for advice when you don’t know what to do. The illustrations are just divine and they certainly draw the eye to the pages. I absolutely adored this book and believe that children will love it too. My daughter loves this book and enjoys reading all the individual letters inside. A heartwarming 5⭐️ Read Review: A wonderful cuddle up together story - Such a wonderful story with written letters inside. A wonderful cuddle up together story .

Lovely idea and very pretty book
I loved the idea and look of this book. The pictures are beautifully done, the story is a very sweet one and I like the ending - showing kids that sometimes what you want to happen isn't what's best to do for those you love. It also touches very gently on loss. The letters back and forth are funny and the concept is good. However, I think the letters are just too long for kids to stay interested, and too hard to get out of the envelopes. If they were a little shorter and with bigger envelops this would have been 5 starts.

Best kids books and not expensive
Love these books by Emma Yarlett. My kids favourite go to at bedtime. Beast feast a definite favourite but this is very close. So easy to follow and add your own fun and flare. Definitely recommend for those with kids who love a bedtime story that's not just a story to get them to sleep quickly, but to actually enjoy just being in that moment and loving the book and time with those little ones.

Happy Grand daughter
My granddaughter asked for this book for her birthday. She is 7 years old and was thrilled to bits when she received it. When I ordered it I thought her reading level was too advanced for this book but the letters inside were very well written and perfect for her age

Another favourite
I swear we have just got to collect all of Emma Yarlett's works, my kid and I just love them all. It's great how we can pull out a letter each time to read more in depth about the story.

This is the funniest and most exciting book I’ve ever read. I love every single envelope inside the book. The illustrations are so amazing. The book forces everybody to hold it and read it

Love this book. The little letters that come out are simple and add to the story.

This is such a great book. I have one that I use in my classroom. My children love it! I was so Impressed that I brought a second copy for my granddaughter. She too had fallen in love with books and it’s many letters.
