No surprises
Very pleased. I was concerned it might not fit our mower, but it did. Great to have this to expand the usefulness of our mower.

Finally, the correct battery for our leaf blower/vacuum.
This is the correct battery for the leaf blower/vacuum I purchased a couple of years back. I get very good run time with this battery. I might even order another one.

Arrived defective
Tried to charge but wouldn't charge. Tested 3 chargers and known good batteries & confirmed faulty. Just ordered exact replacement, as all aftermarket batteries are likely to be made in China (this one is made in Vietnam). In Asia, Japan and Taiwan seem to be the only countries that hold high standards and stringent quality control (and even those two countries are not perfect, and standards in Japan are falling short due to the majority of workers being forced to work as part-timers and increasing number of foreigners with poor work ethics/language barriers). These batteries, like any other rechargeable batteries, are consumables and after certain charges they no longer hold charge or wouldn't charge, which is normal. My first Greenworks 4.0AH battery just died after like 20+ charges/6 years. Their 6.0AH was the best, but they discontinued it and replaced it with 8.0AH, which is about $250. You don't spend $250 on a battery that is known to go bad after several years, so 5.0AH at $150 is a good choice (anything with less AH is not suitable for real life use).
