Great art work, okay story.
Platform: Bought a Kindle version. The good thing first, the art work is great and I thoroughly enjoyed the read. The current Kindle support for graphic novels is great and makes reading them enjoyable. The book: I picked it up because it's a classic. The story is simple and has its moments. The world building and the justification for most events in the book is weakly done. It tries to make a social commentary, but again it is half done. The story has potential, however a weak narrative doesn't allow it to happen. I have not read the original book. Perhaps that better addresses the issues I had with this book.

I did not get much from this....just a mediocre adventure..nothing else...

This is an amazing graphic novel! My 10 year old son couldn't put it down. Some graphic novels he finishes in an hour, this novel is much longer and kept his interest. We cannot wait to see the movie!
