I was alittle nervous after I'd bought this reading some of the less kind reviews. I was bummed that it was delayed in shipping because I bought it for a funeral. Which it did not come in time for- but the lady is dead so I don't think she cared what I wore. Onto this dress. It is NOT costume material. The dress I received is a very nice heavy material with a lining and a zipper that comes up the back to the neck. It fits beautifully has a little bit of stretch and give as well as really nice sized pockets. I decided to keep the dress, even though it didn't come in time for the funeral because it is absolutely stunning on --beautifully made very well crafted and is the first black dress I've actually ever owned. It's one of those kind of dresses that you can seriously dress up and have it become very formal or wear it semi casually to some kind of afternoon event. A new staple in my ever-growing closet. I ordered a large. I am 5 foot five and weigh 145 pounds and it fits beautifully.

Whenever I saw the packaging for this dress, I immediately thought that I’d made a mistake on the correct size and I was afraid to even open the package. It was a vacuum sealed package. However, when I did open it and tried the dress on it was a perfect fit. I ordered the XX Large as I am 5’2 and 242 pounds. I wore it to church on Sunday and I received so many compliments, especially from my husband. One church member asked me to order her one just like it because she doesn’t have an Amazon account. The dress is lightweight, but the right weight for Spring or Summer, it is the perfect length for me, and I actually felt really confident and cute in it. I will surely purchase some other colors as my budget allows.

Love love this dress. Fits great, the color is perfect for my skin ton, stretchy and the pocket just take it over the top. it's so comfortable.

ordered dress with 3 other ladies to usher for church - 2 of us received the dress and it was a polyester material (shiny) and myself and the other lady received same dress and it was more of a t-shirt material. it was soft to touch and in my opinion not true to size - I wear a large or xl but had to get a 2xl for the dress to fall properly. The other issue I had with the dress was it was completely see thru. You should wear a full slip when wearing this dress. I do not understand why we received the dress in 2 different fabrics from the same place. Don't feel the dress is worth the price tag and I won't order this brand again.
