They are foil and so take a bit of getting used to while shuffling because they can slip away from you, but once they become 'handled' and you get used to them, all you notice is how beautifully illuminated the cards are in either natural or artificial light. I thought I knew the traditional RW cards well, but I have noticed more subtle imagery in these cards due to the iridescence of the cards highlighting some less obvious features. I think these cards will be a wonderful addition to any Tarot collection.

I absolutely love how this deck shuffles. It is hypnotizing because shuffling feels like butter! It feels magical in your hands and makes the whole experience so smooth. Perfect for beginners as well, since it features the traditional Rider Waite Smith imagery. Highly recommend for anyone starting out or looking for a reliable, beautiful deck!

Excellent, love these cards! Very slippery when handling, so take your time and they shouldn't fly away. I only noticed a slight smell when I had cards close to face, practically no smell for me. Quality great and clear pictures on cards, good booklet and box. These are my special cards now and would buy again if needed. Recommend these with no probs at all for me, good price too and were delivered early. Thank you!

These gold foil tarot cards are not only practical but absolutely beautiful the card stock is exceptionally good and thick making them sturdy cards and very easy to use. Only reason I gave a 4 star is because I found them the exact same deck half the price on another big online retailer but they are still good value for money. If you love tarot cards you will absolutely love this deck!!!!

Feels great in the hand and cards fly out when reading

This deck is so beautiful but golly gosh not easy to shuffle. My hands become all tingly after handling them. The material is not the usual paper/card...no chance of shuffling them without having to hold on tight as cards want to just slip out. Think twice before ordering them. I collect tarot decks, therefore it's a nice blingy addition to my collection.

These are beautiful! The art and colors are very nice and these are good sturdy cards. They’re slippery, but I don’t know if that’s just new cards slick or if they’ll always be like that because they’re PVC. There are pretty patterns etched into some of the images that are only visible when the light reflects off of them. My only note is the smiling sun on the back. It’s obvious if the card is reversed or not before it is drawn. I am still very pleased and can’t wait to start using them!

Ces cartes de Tarot sont tout simplement MAGNIFIQUES! Seul petit bémol, elles sont extrêmement glissantes. Donc ça aide bcp au brassage mais il faut bien les tenir. Malgré cela je les adore 😍

These make a beautiful gift. The box they come in is sturdy, the lid is held closed with a magnet. They are very lush cards to admire but hard to read because they are so shiny. They are also very slippery.
