Will this hose work for an above ground pool vacuum?

It will work for above ground pool vacuum, but you should measure to ensure 30 feet will reach every area you will need. I bought this hose to use in an in-ground pool and it is a 19' x 40' and it reaches because the vacuum foot is on the end of the pole. This is a very plastic hose though. It is not a vinyl or rubber and doesn't sink or fill with water very well. It is kinda stiff but should work well for your application. It is cheaply made and the ends come off easy but the price is also inexpensive so you should gauge cost with quality. If the items I suggest as problem areas are ok by you, then the hose will work for you. If the are not I would keep looking. I hope this helps and Good Luck.

Does this hose fit "The Pool Cleaner" model?

Probably not since the vast majority of suction type automatic pool cleaners use 1 1/4 inch suction hose and this is 1 1/2 inch diameter with 1 1/2 inch fittings.

I need more than 30 feet and two of these be joined?

This hose has male ends on both sides. You can purchase a1 1/2" Pool Vacuum Hose Double Male Connector Adapter to connect them, they are available on Amazon for $6-10 each. It is important to remember if you are using an automatic pool vacuum that the hose is long enough for the vacuum to reach every area of the pool, but if the hose is too long it will tangle and not allow the vacuum to circulate properly (it will get stuck in one area and stay there.)

Hi, This hose is 1-1/2" diameter, which is typical for in-ground pools. Depending on your pool and the skimmer opening size you have, you may need a 1-1/2" x ? : fitting so the hose fits into the skimmer. For instance, an above-ground pool may have 1-1/4" fittings, so that in this case you may need a 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" conversion fitting. You may also consider using a vacuum plate, inside the skimmer, with the correct size (1-1/2") fitting for this vacuum hose. Your local swim pool supply store can assist, or you may find fittings on line.
