I returned these as the background appeared white but was more of a beige color. The valance itself was very well made and if the color would have been what I wanted, I would have kept them.

I like to have a lot of light coming into the house, but hate it when the sun beams directly into my workspace. I hung this valance on my kitchen window and am pleased with the result. The bright, red eucalyptus pattern is cheery, and the valance is just long enough to filter out direct sunlight without obscuring my view or making the kitchen feel like a dungeon.

The red eucalyptus leaves are nice, but I’m not crazy about the gold facet cut stones, beads, or seeds that are in the leaves. It does make it look more more holiday or festive, but I plan to use it year round.
