No more plastic ice cube trays for me. I have three icemakers but I love my stainless steel trays for making special ice cubes with tiny flowers and herbs. These trays make nice sized cubes and are easy to use.

Love these! My parents had the exact set when I was a child in the 1970s. No more smelling like the inside of the freezer, this is how plastic ice cube trays smell after using them for a few months. They are very easy to use to get the ice out. They will probably last a lifetime. I'm so glad I purchased these trays.

I bought two of these trays in Oct. 25. We had lots of trouble getting the ice cubes to release, and it felt like the whole thing was going to break if we pulled the handle back too forcefully. If you wait for the mechanism to loosen naturally, the ice starts melting and well... just a big mess. I finally analyzed the problem and I think it's this ... the bottom of the ice tray isn't perfectly flat (warps a little after using it) .... so a layer of solid ice forms on the INTO into a solid sheet of ice that's on the bottom of the tray). Sooo... realizing that, I finally tried this and it works! A little hassle, but it's worth it. Fold a thick dishtowel into a rectangle about the size of the ice cube tray. Soak the towel with water and heat it in the microwave until it's very warm, but not burning hot, then put the towel on the counter. Put the ice cube tray on top of the hot, wet towel and relatively quickly you'll hear it the sound of ice cracking. Voila, lift the handle and the cubes then be removed much more easily! Best way I've found to get the ice cubes out without breaking the handle! Hope that helps someone!

I bought these to stop using plastic ice cube trays. I am very happy with them. They are very sturdy. I LOVE being able to fill the trays and THEN put in the separator piece; no more splashing water all over when filling the trays. I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to get the ice cubes out, but as long as you let them sit out for a few minutes first, the lever is easy to pull up and the cubes come out easily.

These ice cube trays failed me completely on every level. On the surface they look like similar ice cube trays from when I was a kid. They have a lever mechanism that is supposed to let you free the ice cubes from the holder, but the metal is so bad it simply bends the lever. It comes with miniature tongs so I tried to use the tongs to remove the ice cubes from the mechanism, but the tongs bent. I feel stupid for buying this product. I honestly do not understand how anyone could give a rating of more than one star for these ice cube trays.

Great trays! Surprisingly heavy duty and function well. We have been trying to get away from plastic in all kitchen things. If I need more I will definitely order these!

These work great. Reduce microplastic consumption

Like that it’s metal but the trays are a bit small. It’s difficult the pull back on lever. I run it under water for easier release.
