This was good palm oil - moderately flavorful, moderately red (I’ve seen redder); it arrived solid so I had to squeeze some out of the bottle, but that’s ok: it’s good quality whether solid or liquid. Good for making chicken Moambe, black eyed peas, and many other delicious dishes! When I got it, this was the best deal on Amazon (within reasonable quantities) for Palm oil.

Would give it 5 stars but the packaging is inconvenient on a cold day when the oil hardens. The oil is quite tasty and when mixed with coconut oil is divine. ++++++++++++++++++++++++=== 01.19.13 Update: Am loving this oil and use it most everyday. Don't watch Dr. Oz but reading the newer reviews it seems he likes it too and his recommendation has driven up the price. But also looking at those same reviews I imagine the fad might be short-lived as no one seems to like the taste. I only thought it an unusual taste at first and now, months later, I am not aware of any unusual taste at all and when I don't cook with it I miss it. When I first began eating virgin coconut oil I had the same experience: I was aware of the coconut flavor but now it has no flavor at all to me. And I have solved the packaging issue by just soaking the container in some hot water during the cold months and then transferring the oil into another container.
