Works great on fever blisters if you start using it at first sign. It speeds the process up while drying it out. Heals usually days earlier. I put on 3-4 times daily with Q-Tip. I have tried all the store brands put this seems to work best!

I heard of this for years, but never tried it, but I decided to order it and see for myself. It was good for healing things that are hard to get rid of. It dries it up fast and you don't need a bandage. It may burn when you put it on sometimes, but no pain, no gain!! that's what I heard,

Camphor spirits are what give CamphoPhenique that funny smell. Only here it's a liquid and it's full strength. If you notice a cold sore starting (you know when, like when you feel that itch and you see a little dot and wonder if it's going to be a cold sore) you break this out and start putting on that little spot. If you catch it quick enough the Camphor spirits will dry it up before it gets out of hand. I always use a standard double ended cotton swab to apply this stuff. I use one end of the swab and then when I go back I use the other end of the swab. Never place a used side of the swab back into the bottle. Only use a clean swab to put inside the bottle. Re-using swabs is pointless. They are cheap. Use once, throw away. And you'll get rid of that cold sore quck.

I personally like this product for many uses. One whiff and it unstops my nose especially when I have a cold. It relieves skin irritations. And I get rid of skin tags around my neck and shoulders when they pop up. It kills foot fungus if you apply it every night before going to bed. But you do have to be persistent in applying it, like every night until you get the relief you want. And it kills cold sores on your lips if you don't mind the sting. It's an old household remedy my grandmother used. I'm in my 70's and it has worked for me all my life. Good health and good luck. --Joe

I have had a relatively small dermatofibroma on my leg below my knee for atleast the past 5 years. I have tried so many at home remedies to try and make it go away. I hated wearing shorts or would wear a band aid over it when I did. I read online that camphor spirit helped the appearance and in some cases made it go away. I finally decided to try it. I have only been using it for the past 3 days but have seen such an improvement and the dermatofibroma is starting to flatten! I am so pleased and cannot wait until the dermatofibroma is gone! I use it twice a day. First thing in the morning and at night after a shower. This is such a great product!!!

I love this stuff and don't understand why I can't buy it at Walgreen's or CVS. OH WAIT, it's because it's cheap and really useful - and the stores want to sell you stuff that costs a LOT more and doesn't work as well. I've had annoying cold sores once or twice a year ever since I can remember. Walgreens sells a $25 creme in a microscopic tube that doesn't seem to do anything. I've tried Acyclovir cream - also pretty useless. This stuff is great for treating cold sores. That and a prescription for Valacyclovir pills - can't do much better.
