Remington Nose, Ear & Eyebrow Trimmer, Waterproof Groomer

This is a perfect shaver for ear and nose. Both my husband and I use it. The shaver works great for my husband's ears. And there is no pulling when we use it for our nose.

Actually still works after a year or so. Would buy again. These things usually crap out after a few uses.

This is a pretty good value for ten bucks. Most other trimmers seem to be at least a couple dollars more expensive and don't always have both the eyebrow and nose trimmer attachments along with the general trimmer function. And not all come with the battery included. I also really like how the trimmer is double sided. Makes certain tasks a bit easier without having to flip it around to come at the hair from the other angle. I also like how you can open/close the blades quickly and easily for cleaning. However, to me, it underperforms a bit in how close it trims. I've used a different trimmer, the Wahl Micro Groomsman, for years but decided to give this one a try since the Wahl product is generally more expensive and usually stops working sooner than I think it should. This Remington trimmer doesn't seem to cut quite as close as the Wahl. The Wahl trimmer sounds and feels a bit more powerful and seems to allow me to better get that close trim that I want. So, I ultimately bought another one of the Wahls. That said, I still use this product, too. The eyebrow and nose trimmer functions seem to work just as well as they do on the Wahl, and I don't always need a super close trim on my face. Plus, the double blade feature is nice and this trimmer is a little quieter. In terms of form, this one has a thicker, heavier handle, which feels good in the hand. But the Wahl is skinnier so will take up a bit less space. The Wahl product also has a cap to put over the blades when not in use while this item does not. In terms of durability, I don't know how this will do. I'm hoping it lasts longer than the Wahl, which I feel like I replace once every 2 or 3 years. All in all, I like this product, especially at the price, but I can't give it 5 stars since it just doesn't trim as closely as I'd like.

If you are reading this review, then you have probably searched the world over attempting to find a Nose Trimmer that actually works. I have tried several. I used the metal manual trimmer that was of good quality and worked but did not completely remove hair in spots no matter what the angle. I used powered trimmers like Panasonic, and it worked well seemingly but still would leave hairs in certain spots. Most the time I would use trimmers to get center of target then use other trimmers and scissors to get sides. Even then, it seemed impossible to get targeted effectiveness. If you are slightly OCD, then this could drive you crazy. The Remington Trimmer is solid in the hand but has a unique trimmer head. A person can angle the trimmer in a manner to get the center and sides to near perfection. Now, the trimmer will cut the hair close but it is not completely skin close. Nevertheless, it will be effective for a week or so. After use, the user will rarely if ever see sole hairs left behind unlike the metal manual version or Panasonic. The trimmer will need cleaning then I recommend placing a small single drop of oil after washing and run the blade. Make sure you elevate the head away from the trimmer during washing with the push of you thumb. You turn the bottom base clockwise to turn on. Occasionally, the trimmer may seem stuck or not work, simply use your thumb and separate the head from the unit and turn on. I have the product 5 stars because in comparison, it works. It is not high end and may not last longer than a year. But it works. And if needed, I would purchase another because these units are relatively inexpensive.

Seems cheaper plastic type, not quality like few hrs b4. Does work, but will shop for another one better quality.

I had one before I bought this one and now I have this one. It works just as good as as the other one I had.

I just purchased this because I’ve had one for many years and really liked it. I use it for facial hair and nose hair. It removes the hair effectively and precisely, my grown son raids my drawer and uses it when he comes over , so I gave him my old one .I don’t even know exactly when I bought it, 20 yrs or more I guess. This one’s almost just like it but with a couple of attachments . It works great too! The new one is very pretty,slimmer with some color but what I like best is it works as well as the old one! If it last as long as the previous one I probably won’t have to buy another since I’m in my 70’s.

No eyebrow comb! Bummer! Main reason for getting it Circular nose hair cutter is useless.. but the cutting head itself is great! And with a little finesse you can get those eyebrows and nose hairs easily (but be careful.. lost some of my left brow… no one noticed). Only 4 stars for missing eyebrow thing

I like this and had a similar one before, it always did a good job. I'm several months in now and I find that the blades are generally slowing down. If I rinse it, and put a bit of oil, they pick right up and work like brand new. Have changed the batteries once so far, so good lasting. I prefer this style over the cone ones for the flexibility in uses. I just use the straight edge and have not used the other attachment. Cleaning is a breeze which is a big bonus. Just keep putting oil on every now and then and this should last a nice while.
