Beautiful knife which keeps its edge
As far as carbon knives go, this, for me, is the peak (until you get into hand made Japanese knives). Absolutely stunning, a pleasure to hold, and the carbon steel is razor-sharp. Knife care, while might be tedious for some, is straightforward. Just keep it dry as much as you can, oil the handle from time to time, and strop it regularly to keep its magnificent edge. If it's a knife you don't use much, apply camellia oil when storing. Learn the difference between rust and patina as you'll want to watch out for the former and develop the latter.
