What are cheap clamps that will slide in slots

This table was purchased for my husband. He said that there are slots for clamps to be used to hold something in place. The description must have meant that you wouldn't have to buy expensive clamps for this to work.

What is the distance center on center between holes? Can I mount a Yost vise on it?

Top is laid out in metric. 602mm x 850mm. Holes are 20mm diameter, spaced 100mm on-center. Slots are 30mm x 165mm. In inches: Top is 23-11/16" x 33-7/16". Holes are 25/32" diameter, spaced 3-15/16" on-center. Slots are 1-3/16" x 6-1/2".

Do they make a portable vice for this?
