Dewalt Residential Construction Codes Complete Handbook (DEWALT Series) 1st Edition

This book has been a big asset and aid throughout the construction of my garage/shop. Being the DIY builder/owner, permits required so having to work with a building inspector and all the codes, this book has kept me mostly ahead of the game of codes. I keep saying it's just a Garage!!! Yea! So It's still has to be built to Code!! I Know!! Nice book it was worth every penny!! I have passed all my inspections with only a few minor issues to fix..

I have the kindle version of this book, which makes this a very fast and convenient item that I need for work. The book contains the essential ICC IRC codes with illustrations, for most aspects of USA residential building construction It's one of the best, affordable, references on this subject.

My wife and I are having a home built and I wanted to do a little checking on the builder to make sure things are as they should be.During the course of the building process I uncovered some things that needed to be corrected. Thanks to the book I was able to point them out it even helped when I had to go to the building inspectors to get some things corrected.Great reference.

This reference is not only a must have for the DIY homeowner but for assessing work performed by contractors/others before it is too late for corrections to be made during the job. A wise investment to get things done correctly the first time - it will pay for itself if only one mistake is avoided and if you are doing the work yourself - time and frustration.

well laid out and has all the information I needed without reading through pages and pages of boring code. I keep it handy on any project for reference.

As complete a code book as one could ask for. Codes change all the time but this one is about as up to date as you can get. Great reference. High quality pages and pictures with apt descriptions. Very easy to understand and follow.

Good condensed version of the ICC.

If you have a traditional project, this would be good book. If you are a hard core contractor, you may want to the original code book as a supplement.
