Ah ! I love the smell of new leather. It reminds of a new baseball glove. These gloves are just like the ones I used to pull barb wire. I like a workman's product like this in that it is sturdier, more durable and long lasting. I am a large man 6'4" so I feared the glove might not fit but it was a nice size. The seller sent a most welcome follow-up email asking if it fit and offer to correct if it didn't. They have all my business for now. I use the product for cleaning metal where I cut up my hands substantially. These gloves stopped that.

My hands are beautiful and my nails are precious and I want them to stay that way. So when I need to do some housework, screw in a screw on some cheap IKEA furniture, hammer in a nail to put up my cheap framed artwork, or maybe even when I'm throwing away the trash and I don't want to touch my nasty garbage bin, I put these leather gloves on and my hands feel beautiful in them. I also feel like I'm doing something important when I have them on so I have them on all the time.

I used them two shlep a a couple of 40 pound bags into the basement. Afterwards I noticed my hands had orange stains on them. Clearly from the gloves. Did not come off easily. Had to use plenty of soap a scrubbing with a brush to get it off.

They're thick, they're easier to wear than the long ones (provided you dont need the extra arm protection), and they work well for a lot of projects. Just don't get them wet. I gave them 4 stars only because my hands turned orange when i got them wet. It came off fine so I'm not walking around with orange hands. Not a huge deal. I use these to handle exotic animals so I dont get bitten.

The fingers are not sewn properly. There is a big hole in one of them where it was not stitched in the correct location, which defeats the purpose of having these gloves. I didn't realize it in time and threw away the packaging, so now I am unable to return. Returning is a huge hassle anyway, so it's probably better to go with a quality brand that is usable upon first try.

Used gloves all day piling brush. Very comfortable. So far they wear well. Last pair of gloves i purchased from Lowes tore in the thumb. These appear to be well made and trust that they will last.Update: Gloves are still wearing well, but used them for several hours yesterday and had yell/orange hands. Took several washes to remove to stain. Removed a star.
