After looking at all the options and knowing I needed whatever it takes to hang a punching bag I went with this one and perfect choice for a great price it is all there what you need is what u will get . Easy install if u have a drill. You gotta gave a bit of knowledge however as far as to where to hang a bag thinking about the weight of it and keeping it hung without falling. Super simple if you have open ceiling as then just drill 2 pilot holes and use impact drill to sink the supplied lag bolts. If you have a drywall ceiling still easy but I would recommend purchasing a 2x4 or 2x6t to either secure above ceiling or below by simply sinking screws into as many studs possible the length of your wood then just lag bolt your mount to that newly added wood.

Mount is sturdy enough for occasional use, I doubt it would hold up in a professional setting, but for my needs it has exceeded my expectations. Easy to install exactly how you would think. I am happy with the purchase

Worked well

My 16 year old and his friend installed this from a roof rafter within minutes. It was easily attached to the bag and they were punching in no time. There are a few complaints, though, hence the 4 stars. 1. The screw to anchor the swivel joint can only be anchored one way and that does not work when you're hanging from an angled rafter. Not a big deal since my 45° rafter doesn't allow it to spin anyway. But something to keep in mind if you're installing at an angle. 2. The bolt that holds the first carabiner is very long. So the carabiner has about 3/4" travel right and left on the bolt, which can be annoying since it would make noise and probably also destroy the carabiner over time. I used some spacers that came with my TV wall mounts combined with some rubber toilet seat washers to remove the slack. You can probably use toilet seat bolt washers alone but I didn't have enough. Anyway, nothing some cheap rubber washers couldn't fix but still a little annoying. 3. The carabiners and the chains don't feel very heavy duty. Our bag is a small punching bag but if you have a full size, not sure how well this would hold up. Probably be fine but it just doesn't feel very beefy. Even with those caveats, this is a good purchase.

This was a gift for my husband. He is very pleased with this chain and swivel set. His bag isn't heavy, but I told him that it would hold a heavier bag and that it received good reviews by other users with heavy bags in case he wanted to upgrade. Our basement is not finished and he used one board across several floor joists to bolt it too. But it would have fit fine on one floor joist if that was how he chose to do it.

I have 100 pound Everlast heavy bag and this thing hold up. 10/10 would buy again.

At first I was concerned when I bought this because I realized my punching bag utilizes a different style of straps to hang it, but I was able to remove the chains from this setup and simple hang my bag from the swivel ceiling mount. Does exactly what I needed, now I don't have to manually hang my bag on my weight cage every time I want to switch between boxing and weight-lifting.

The mount and bolts that go directly into the support beam is solid; but the second piece that connects to the mount with two different bolts constantly came lose and stripped the threading. I was able to secure it permanently with a few new bolts, washers, and some loctite.
