Great salve
I have used Rosebud salve for more than 20 years and I love it. I’m just now trying the strawberry and it’s nice too.

I love these things
Ok, believe me when I say I have tried them all. No really, I have tried them all. Now, I'm not going to say these are the bestest, most awesomest lip balms ever like omg, they're up there in that category, but it's not the holy grail of lip balms. However, these ARE the bestest, most awesomest lip balm you can find for the price and function.First off, I don't like to spend more money than I have to. I don't like tiny trendy branded lip balms that come in the most elaborate glass packaging but actually hold like 0.05oz of product for over $15. I usually just end up not using those ones because they were so dear. That defeats the purpose. These tins, however, carry a hefty 0.8oz of product (that's a lot!) and are not unnecessarily heavy or elaborate. That means you can just chuck a tin in your bag and it doesn't leak or feel heavy. The tins are wide so you can easily scoop up the balm with your finger or brush with no hassle. Sometimes you just want to put on some lip balm, yknow, and not have to fiddle around your purse looking for a tiny pot.I also don't like fancy things in my lip balm. None of that silly mocha margarita sugar pineapple flavor, or pinks that look good on nobody, or plumping balms that feel like you just put botox on your lips or those weird new lip balms that change color according to your mood or menstrual cycle or whatever. These tins are pretty much no-nonsense, sure it's got rose and mint and strawberry but it's not overpowering. It's still, in essence, a lip balm, instead of a rose/mint/strawberry all up in your face. It does what it should do, which is to moisturize my lips with a little scent to it. That's it.Now, as a lip balm it doesn't have much staying power. But then again that's because it's a lip balm. It's easy enough to reapply if you need to, without remorse unlike the expensive little pots. Sure, it's not terribly exciting, but I find that if you layer it over a dark lip stain, it can actually bring out the color pretty well. The tins are hefty and pretty and seal tight, which is helpful because the lipbalm can kind of melt if you're in hot weather. But that's the same with other lip products. Don't leave makeup in hot weather.I gotta say these lip balms are like my comfy shoes. Not what I would wear to a fancy ball, not what I would show off but that's not its purpose. At the end of the day I just want to let my hair down and put on some moisturizing no-nonsense lip balm and let it get to work without any of the other frills. That's why I have these littered everywhere in the house and use them all the time, right next to the expensive silly ones which I never use.

Great but a bit of a mess
I really love this lip balm set but I will warn you to prepare for them being melted if you're getting these in the warmer seasons like I did.I'd recommend sitting them up right for awhile somewhere warm so the salve settles back into the bottom, and putting them in the fridge for a bit before removing the plastic seal and opening them or you'll be stuck with a mess like I did. I ended up having to spend a good bit of time repotting and cleaning up two of the three. Some reason the strawberry didn't melt?I've never tried the strawberry or mint before but they're really nice. I've loved the regular rose one for more than a decade so I'm glad I found the set to try the others.

Classic lip balm
These are classic lip balms that have been around for some time. So far I’ve only used the classic salve and the minted rose; I haven’t tried the strawberry just yet. The balms themselves are pretty good, but I do have two complaints: #1 I first used the classic salve while wearing a cloth face mask. I wasn’t too crazy about the fact that the white inner layer of my mask was stained pink due to the salve. Despite spot treating with non-chlorine bleach, sometimes the stains didn’t wash away completely. This complaint in and of itself isn’t too big a deal. #2 The pots themselves are made from aluminum, with each lid a little less than 0.5” tall and fitting snugly. At times the pots are a little tough to pull apart. And after putting lotion on your hands?? Forget it. The only way to get them open is with dry, non-moisturized hands. I no longer close the pots completely after each use. Instead I leave them slightly ajar with just a touch of pressure so the lid doesn’t fall open, but I can still wedge the pieces apart with ease. Ease of opening is only worth about two stars, but the product itself is a five. Losing one star felt like a fair compromise.

Exactly as advertised
I have to admit that while I love the rosebud salve, and the minted rosebud salve, I’m really not in love with the strawberry one. However, I can use it up and I love the other 2. This is fantastic as an all purpose balm. It helps keep my lips from chapping, is great on my hands and feet, to soften them and keep from getting those horrid deep cracks that can form in dry skin in the winter. It’s even great for treating leather goods- it helps me to soften and condition my bags! A little goes an awfully long way, so thus 3 pack lasts me for about a half year.

Sent Ice Packs Because....Summer!
Trusted brand, no concern about product quality. These are my wife's favorite lip balms. We live in a small town and cannot find this anywhere but Amazon. Amazon also has a good price point. I was worried these would arrive in a puddle given the heat of summer. However, it came with an ice pack. Totally warm by the time we got it but likely kept the balm from turning to a liquid. I am impressed.
