Blue Nectar Ayurvedic Baby Oil with Ghee & Coconut Oil for Baby Massage

I have always been averse to using generic skin products as they are usually high on petroleum/liquid paraffin, mineral oil, colours and fragrances. They are HARMFUL for adult skin so you can imagine how catastrophically bad they would be for baby skin. If you're using a big brand then stop now! I am still processing the J&J judgment (baby powder causing ovarian cancer!). Better to stick to Ayurveda than to trust brands which spend more on publicity & marketing than the product itself! What can a good baby oil do? It can give the baby good health (for life), good sleep and good growth. Ayurveda highly recommends oil massage for kids as its crucial for their development. There are 3 ingredients in particular that make this a superlative oil for babies- ashwagandha, ghee & shankapushpi. Ashwagandha is an adaptogen which makes it very useful for soothing the nervous system and promoting healthy sleep in babies. Ghee is revered in Ayurveda as it's tri-doshic and a massage with ghee has innumerable benefits for babies. If your baby has any skin issues or propensity to catch cold, then DEFINITELY use this ghee rich massage oil. Ghee also reduces the chance of infection as it is full of antioxidants. Lastly, Shankapushpi is considered to be extremely good for cognitive development, meaning it does wonders for memory and intelligence. It also builds immunity and strength in children. What is another plus is the base oil used- sesame oil. Sesame is a warming oil which aids absorption of the herbs, not to forget the countless benefits of sesame oil for babies. Coming to the oil, it is fantastic! It has a perfect texture, neither too greasy nor too readily absorbed that it makes the skin dry immediately upon application. In addition, it does not have an artificial smell/fragrance. I have already recommended it to other mothers. New mothers need to be very discerning and if you're one, ALWAYS read the ingredient list and don't blindly trust big names. Your baby deserves nothing but the best! However, there is one aspect that disappoints, namely the bottle which is made of plastic. I wish the oil came in a glass bottle. Sigh. Although this oil says it's for babies, I would say kids (till the age of 12-13 approx) would greatly benefit too (although for kids it is better suited for a weekly oil bath than a daily one). Usually I would take a safe approach and try a smaller variant and then, if impressed, move on up to a bigger one but having tried a few Blue nectar oils before, I straight away opted for 200ml bottle this time and I am supremely happy with my decision!!!

Recently I came across bluenectar_ayurveda contemporary ayurved massage oil .since ages baby massage oil has been considered really important But correct oil is also important .it's one of the best oil which could provide daily nourishment and strength to your baby's skin . This mild fragrance is also good . It comes in a semi-transparent blue plastic bottle with a golden screw cap and the same golden stickers at its front and back. The plastic seems to be of good quality. The bottle is sturdy and travel-friendly as well. However, I wish the oil came in a glass bottle. The consistency of this oil is just perfect. Neither it’s greasy nor it gets absorbed too fast which makes it perfect for massaging purpose. The fragrance of this baby oil is very mild, pleasant and relaxing. It won’t irritate your baby. There is no added color, flavor or fragrance in it. It contains 13 vital herbs including Ghee, Ashwagandha and Sankhpushpi which is highly beneficial for healthy growth of babies. It also contains coconut oil, almond oil and olive oil which nourishes their sensitive skin and keeps it highly moisturized. Olive oil also promotes good bone and muscle health. It also has Lavender Oil which has a calming effect and helps your baby to relax and sleep well. All the ingredients are natural and beneficial. I genuinely can’t find any reason that can cause any sort of discomfort to your baby. I’ve recommended this product to my friend who is a mommy of 4 months old. She appreciated this product a lot. I’ve also tried it on myself as I love using baby products for their ultra soothing fragrance and highly moisturizing properties. This baby massage oil is no different as it is very soothing, very gentle and highly moisturizing. And the best part, it contains no harmful chemicals & fragrance and has therapeutic effect.

It's a baby oil.. i know.. but do you know that baby oils are really good for your skin specially for your face.. Well I have dry skin so oils are my rescue.. so I use baby oil mostly.. Very good baby oil. It absorbs quickly, doesn’t leave the skin greasy, and keeps the skin soft and well hydrated. The scent is gentle and relaxing, perfect after bath time. I feel confident using it because it has natural ingredients. I recommend it.

I've been using this wonderful massage oil on my baby niece, and it's truly great. The oil is incredibly moisturizing and nourishing, leaving her delicate skin feeling so soft and smooth.
