Will this fit a 2012 F150?

At the cab end there is more structure on top of the bed, so it ends up about a half inch shorter than prior generations of F-150. Most covers will work on both, but it really depends on the length of the rails if it is that style of cover. I purchased The Cover for a 2015 to 2022 Model and it fit like a Glove. I see the Question is for 2004 to 2014. so I would say the model shown should fit.

On the rollup version do the rails go on the inside or on top?

The small Rails that attach the cover to the pickup bed go Inside the box. and attach to the side of the bed to keep it in place.

There is a picture of three people standing on it. That seems a little far fetched, but it does raise the question.Is there a specified weight limit?

The people are all atanding close to the edge supported by truck bed. Im sure if one of them walked to middle it would colapse. Still mutch better than the canvas covers.
